Waking up on the wrong side of the bed

I woke up this morning with an unexplainable feeling of sadness. I felt great last night so I can't think of any reason why I should be feeling sad. I also have this haunting feeling that everything will go wrong today. Which I hope does not happen.
I tried to shake it off with a cold shower but somehow I still feel odd.
I'm trying to get in touch with my relatives to see if all of them are doing fine. I really hope nothing bad happens today.

I believe you stay alone... I also get such a feeling sometimes... But the only thing to do at such times is get a big mug of coffee or your fav drink and watch a good TV show, a comic one preferrably... This feeling is nothing and it comes out of nothingness.. I stay alone too and have faced this problem quite some times... The best thing is to ignore it...
Note of Caution: if this happens from time to time, please consult with your family Doc... :) Take care... Good Luck...

Hi mr pearl! thanks for the advise but no, I live with my partner. Anyway, that feeling has passed now, but something eventful did happen just before my day ended. me and partner had a fight because of some txt message exchange between me and a previous suitor.
it was just a mini argument and all was well when we slept.

Hi ddaguno
I am starting your day with double with hopes that it can cheer you up. I do have some days like yours where it makes me have all sorts of ill and negative feelings.
Do tell yourself that you will fight against all odds and although the day may not go as you planned that you will not allow it to spoil your day. I am a very positive type thinking person, but must admit it took years for me to be this way. I finally noticed one day that my negative feelings were actually harming me more then the actual events.
I hope that your day goes well and that you get some happy hellos, hugs and wonderful news from you family.

Well, if that's the case, you should not think about it too much. I had this experience too when I had a great time one night together with my friends and I felt uncomfortable when I woke up the next day. I think it's just weird and I got the feeling something would also happen. Well, in the end, nothing spectacular happened. So yeah, it's all in the mind.

I sure hope nothing's wrong. Maybe it was just a dream you had that you can't remember that left you with a really sad emotion. It happens to me sometimes. I'd wake up crying or really angry, even though I was fine before I went to sleep. Sometimes, the dreams come back to me in little bits and pieces and I somehow understand why I was feeling that way when I woke up.

Waking up at the wrong side of the bed is I guess a normal thing. I also do feel sad and bothered at times when I wake up without knowing the reason why. However, don't let that feeling spoil your whole day. Don't let that feeling get the best of you. Continue to be hopeful that your whole day would be great. This is the best time to explore new things. New things that could make you happier. Do things that would divert that feeling into something positive. It is only you who could help yourself. Instead of being stuck in that situation, be optimistic that everything will turn out well.

ddaguno I think we have all had days like that and sometimes I think we all have a little psychic ability too to sense something may be wrong with one of our loved ones. It usually becomes apparent sometimes during one's day. When we learn of it the odd bad feeling disappears as we now understand why we were feeling like that.

You know, sometimes people just have one of those days. Where for whatever reason they really did not seem to get much sleep. Whether or not they did, really it does not matter. The fact of the matter is that they did not get a lot of sleep or perhaps there is something weighing on their mind, many worries that they might have had, even if they don't actively thinking about them, coming together at once.
There are many days, where I feel like I am trapped in a haze. Where it is a constant struggle to maneuver through the many points of my day, throughout life. Where I just want to curl up and take a nice long rest. Yet, I feel as if I have to push forward, to get what I need to do completed. It is not easy. It is just one of those days where I feel like it would be better off if I take things one step at a time. And the next day is in fact a new day, hopefully it will be better.

I never watch the movie the secret, an expert said that: our minds like a big magnet, so what do you think that's what will happen. when you feel sad, then you will only add to misery in your life. positive thinking is much better for you, in order to attract positive things in your life
