How many days per week do you exercise? Do you have a set schedule? I normally take Saturdays and Sundays off from the gym and come Monday morning, I just don't want to go. But then right after my class, I am feeling so good. Like right now, am on MyLot procrastinating because I just don't want to go, but know I will feel better for the rest of the day if I do. So.... I bnetter get off the computer and get going! What is your schedule like and do you ever just have those days that you just don't want to go?

having some equipment at home sure does make it easier if you have a busy schedule.

Great! I think I need to get some home equipment. The extra working out would help boost my fitness program. :-)

Are "free hands" the same thing as free weights? I imagine so. that is osmething you would be able to do from your home. Thanks for your information. I am seeing the average person who does excerise consistently averages around 3-4 times per week. So we are right on track! :-)

HI Suzzette: No I am making a big effort to work out everyday. It's been 8 days and it's actually working. I am usually work out when I wake up. I play Wii Fit and then in the evening I play Wii Sports- boxing. So basically I am working out for an hour. If I feel so tired that I can't wake up at time to work out, at least I do this in the evening and in this case I'd play Wii Fit. This is helping me and I hope to keep doing for at least a month.

That's great! Yes, those Wii games are getting very popular along with the dancing games. And it seems as though they are really great exercise! I don;t know about you, but I feel like the more I exercise, the more I want to continue. If I "fall off the wagon" so to speak and don't exercise for more than 3 or 4 days...I have a really hard time getting my motivation back! Best wishes on your exercising! Keep up the great work!

Hi Suzzette
I have been such a consistent exerciser. I use to do so 5 days a week for an hour a day. Because I cannot afford to loose anymore weight I only do so now 3 days a week for 1/2. It took me 4 months to get my metabolism to rise and of course with healthier eating that now I only do so for cardio.
I have a really great exercise bike at home and am able to exercise right in home. My scheduled is Mon-Wed-Friday.

WOW! That's incredible! You must eat very healthy. I never really had any weight issues until I had my son. Now, even though he's 2 and a half, I still have not lost the 60 lbs I gained. I work out very hard, even with a group trainer 2 days per week and do spin and aerobic weight training classes the other days, yet I still have not lost the weight. I KNOW it's due to poor eating habits though. I am changing them little by little, though. I would like to get a spin bike for my house for the extra cardio, but they are pretty expensive....oh well, I'll just keep plugging away! Congratulations on your accomplishment! And thanks for your reply! :-)

Walking really is good for you and your overall health. I love going to the gym and doing weight training as well. I cannot do pull-ups! Those are really really tough! Hope you enjoy your summer and enjoy the time you get to spend at the gyjm exercising.

i usually exercise 5 days a week. On Monday i do my chest and on Tuesday i do shoulders and traps. Wensday is is back Thursday is biceps and triceps. Sunday is legs. I don't really get many days where i don't want to go to the gym. I am very motivated and hate to take days off. I feel if i do it will affect my overall goals. So, i tend not to take days off.

That's a great way to schedule your routines! That gives me ideas for my workouts also. I feel the same way...it's better to just keep going and it's more of a routine. When I take too much time off in a row, I tend to lose interest and not want to go the following days.

Wow! Sounds gorgeous! Four miles is quite a walk! But with such a nice atmosphere, it must go quickly! We have the beaches here in Florida, but it would take us a good 30 minutes - an hour to get there with all the traffic. Any exercise is good exercise they say~ even walking, or perhaps running, to the bathroom when necessary ;-) Thanks for your reply!
