Reformat Computer

hi ckciasigurl i do reformating on my computer every 6 months it depend if it is slow or not but i love to reformat my computer because it is new

I think its been 1.3 years since i have formatted my PC , i am now using Ubuntu , may be after getting a 4 GB ram i will format my PC .

Just done my hard disks! Both Linux and Windows all gone - then renewed. The best thing about formatting is that it teaches you not to save garbage. Everything you collect over time from various downloads either has to be backed up or left to it's fate. Windows is the main problem because it keeps growing in size all the time. My Linux systems are much better behaved. They aren't actually installed but live in the virtual world of memory. Here today but gone when you switch off, forever new on each restart! Yes, it feels good! Fast and safe, because all the nasty things have gone too.

I own my laptop now for four years and it was stricken by a bad malaware. So I reformatted the entire computer then decided to get a brand new larger capacity hard drive and oh yes I am very happy to have a brand new nice running laptop with so much ease and no garbage that I use to store. I did back up important files into an external drive so if I need any old documents I can easily retrieve them. But I am trying not to save anything unnecessary any more. Enjoy your fast running lap top because I know I am.

I would not format my HDD regularly because I know the pain of reinstalling and configuring everyting. I would rather back up my system on monthly basis and use some utilities to manage my system such as as professional fragmentation, registry cleaning, duplication remover softwares and others.
