ok so you find out soeone pretty close to you has cheated on someone aven more close to you?
she kept it well lets say in the family and i found out so she confessed all....
now SHE is threatening to tell HIM and she said she will tell him i knew all along
shoul I tell him now or wait till SHE does it i will be in big trouble!!!

Well what do you say this is a very awkward situation.and yet she obviously is not very good woman, even when you threaten to tell.The situation appears to you is quite difficult and it is difficult to make the right decision.
Think again what does it decide what to do.

Tell him everything then. It's your reputation that'll get ruined if you don't tell him. You'll be tagged as someone who sides with a cheater and you don't want that, that's very bad for reputation.
