Disney World or Universal Studios with a 4 and 7 year old

I know every child wants to go to Disney World and see Mickey and friends but as I am planning a summer vacation to Orlando, I was looking at the Universal Studios and Islands of Anventure Website and now I think maybe my kids would like those parks just the same.
Of course Disney has Mickey & Friends, Cars, the Princesses, Toy Story etc., but Universal has Spiderman, Dr. Seuss, Barney, Harry Potter(which I would really like to see, Sponge Bob and others.
Any advice on if we should just stick with Disney or save a little money and do Universal?

I think you should take your children to Disney World because it's a child's dream to go to Disney World. The thing with Disney World is there's a whole bunch of characters that your children are familiar with and that will get them excited. Disney is pretty big park, and lots of other things to do besides rides.
