being the eldest in the family, i used to work to help my family financially. i have helped sending my siblings to school until the time i thought i do not have to work for them. that was the time when i said to myself, i do not have to work as hard as i used to. however, whenever I get recognition at work, it boosts my ego and then I realized that i am not just working for family or anyone else but for myself as well. Working hard in return to recognitions make working easier though there are times when you feel tired too.
How about you my fellow mylotters? what and who are you working for?

Primarily, i work to help my husband in giving us a nice life and in sending our daughter to College and now to Medical school. In addition, i work so that i may have money of my own to buy things i want for myself too. Further, my work helps me make use of my talents and find fulfillment in them. My work, encourages me to always make myself nice looking too.

Well, when i was a plain housewife, before finding my present job , whenever i know that my husband will be coming home already, i would stop my chores, rest a while and take a bath. Then, i would prettify myself and wear shorts and shirt so as to look good for him.
Thanks for the BR!

I am working because of my family safety first and to make my future secured one. As of now to my age its essential because in my family no one is working and every one depends on me, on my earnings. As an elder in my family I have so many responsibilities, so for that at least i require to work and earn money.
