how to start doing tasks in Odesk

Is there anyone who knows well about Odesk? I am not American, my question is how much do we pay for odesk and tax for the tasks we do there? I have not completely complete my profile there, the remaining part is about the pay method. Since in the process of add my pay method into my profile, there are lots of words about tax and things like that, so i stopped. How do we get job there? Is it different employees bid for the job, the the employer decide which one to choose? After we finished our tasks and they are passed by the employers, the pay will transfer into the account in Odesk? or directly into paypal or other pay methods? Thanks very much.

Hi! Good day, my husband has a odesk account and some my friends. all you need to do to get job is to complete your profile, take an exam or test that the buyer has a information if you qualify for the job. Take a look to their job vacancies and apply the job that suit to your qualification, make a impressive application letter that it. Don't worry about the billing you can bid to the buyer if you hired because there is an interviewed before you start the job. They pay through paypal or you can apply to their ATM card. Good luck.

Hi dont wary dear. The tax is only for american if u r not american then no need the fill this form. I am from india and i am earning good amount from odesk there are two method to transfer amount one is direct to account and other is paypal so this is very simple. why you wary dear??

I have an odesk account too but I have not started any job yet. I have read some employers need some kind of ratings which as I understood we can get from previous jobs completed, am I correct? Also I want to know if all jobs posted there are legit. Hope to learn more about it here.
