There you will find out that the rating can be increased by simply being active. Respond to others discussions or create your own discussions. But make sure your posts are of quality because short answers won't earn too much for you. A tip to increase your rating faster: when you find a discussion you like, respond to it and have your rating increased by one. Then comment one of the responses written by other users in the same discussion and your rating will increase by one. Other comments in the same discussion won't be counted in your rating but you will still earn from them if they are of quality. what are the rules that are often violates Mylot users? There are a lot of rules and I won't write here the whole list of don'ts. There are few others way of earning here: - completing tasks; - referring friends and family (and earn 25% from their revenue); - uploading photos into your interests or into discussions (but make sure you are aware of the Photo Guidelines); - performing searches using the myLot search bar (you can earn a random reward).

I suggest you to search first before post new discussion. If you find similar discussions, you do not need to post the same. You can engage in those discussions by respond to discussions or comment on other responses. You earn the same amount by post new discussions, respond to discussions or comment on other responses. So, earning here is not just by starting new discussion.

Hi To answer your first question, if by rating you mean reputation,then you will get that star after you reach 100 posts(the number in the bracket). The more positive ratings you will get for your replies and discussion, the better the star will be.
