My Friend found one wandering around. He kept it tried to find out who it belonged to but no one came forward. He's been taking care of him for about 4 years now. He's been great. Great cat. Gets along with everyone. I suppose he got lucky with that cat. He could've been one of those crazy ones that bite everyone in their site.

Thanks to your response. well, in my case here in the Philippines I pity those stray cats who ended up dying in the vehicular accidents.T.T
I adopted two kittens before which I took from the streets. I named them Tuesday & Sunday based on the day that I found them. They are not with me now, I hope they are in the good hands.
Lately, I purchased a cat from the sidewalk nearby the supermarket. They are stray cats and took by this vendor and put them in the plastic box. Being offered in exchange of cash. I bought one and her name is Solenn. I want to buy all of them but I only have limited money. I hope many people will get interested and buy all of them.

Give it a home - simple! I have often taken in strays in the past and I'd never turn away a cat that was homeless and starving.

Dear friend,
I had come of across lot of them, but I could not take them to home. But once I had helped a strayed cat from drowning, that was with a piece of cloth. No other encounters with cats. But I feel pity when I see them especially small kittens, meow meow those innocent sound. When I was a child I had killed a strayed cat which even now I feel much of uncomfortable and disturbed whenever I think of that, it was a small kitten. Once I had cried for that kitten, I hope I was around 8 years old. Oh God that incident had really hurt me a lot.

Stray cats or kittens are usual here in my country. I honestly wouldn't pick it up or feel that it's my responsibility to take care of it because I don't know where it comes from and for fear that it could have some sort of disease or something. I just let it go as it is.

It is easy to adopt a stray cat if one is interested in adopting one. But if it belongs to someone the cat will go back to its owner if they try to locate it. Stray cats can be wonderful pets.

I have found quite a few stray cats in my lifetime. To start with, anytime I find a stray of any kind I try to find if it has a home--I phone the radio station and the humane society to put out the alert. Sometimes I find the owner that way. I have sometimes ended up keeping the stray cat if no owner comes forward. I now have all the pets I want so when I find one now and can't find an owner I take the stray to the humane society. They most times find a good home for them.
