Tv Commercials sometimes they do not get it

The commercial I am thinking about is that toothpaste commercial for people who have sensitive teeth. In this commercial, you have a dentist professional talking in a logical voice how eating citrus fruit takes off the enamel, or how the nerve cells get exposed when the teeth recede as you age. So far, so good. But to emphasize it instead of going to the teeth, or having a patient with a before and after, what do they do? Yes go to show his eyes. Sp what do the eyes have to do with cleaning teeth? Do the whites become more whiter? Does the redness disappear? Is the toothpaste absorbed by the teeth and travels up to the eyes? So why show the eyes in a closeup?

Or should we say, one of those so called brainy people who think that all uf us are very stupid. I am not that dumb. I mean I use the product and my eyes are still the same color, they have not started glowing, but well my teeth are much better.

Thanks. And I suppose if they were in charge of an eye commercial, they would concentrate on the man's teeth.

Hi. suspenseful. The commercial is made to gain the consumer's level of trust. But they are missing the whole point. The commercial should show more about the teeth, because that is what is going to compel a person to buy the product. The commercial should provide enough of information so that the consumer can be eager enough to purchase their product.

I bought the product but that is because I have soft teeth and need an enamel hardener and I saw it in our Superstore and it was on an introductory sale. Now they have the commercial with this girl with this fridge drawer full of citrus fruit and the underlying message is that citrus fruit is bad because it removes the enamel on your teeth. I guess they are suggesting that we all eat pills.

Hmmmmm. I have not paid attention to it. All I can think of is that they want to show you that he does not reflect any pain in his eyes.

Then instead of a toothpaste commercial, do you not think that perhaps it would have been for an eye rinse instead? Really what they do concentrate on is nothing to do with the product.

I'm not sure if I have ever seen that commercial before. I think they should have stuck with showing the teeth and smile only.

There used to be a commercial about the person having their teeth hurt and after using it, there was no problem. It was a better one, but it did not show the dentist making the announcement. And for people like me, who do not exactly trust doctors or dentists, the former commercials were much better.

Those commercials really do not get it. It reminds me of when my friends say after I get my hair done, that it looks so nice from the back. Well I am a writer and I have a good imagination, so I start thinking of having two extra eyes attached by appendages that view my hair on the back or maybe I should carry a mirror attached to the back of my head. Sounds silly, doesn't it? But that ils just as stupid as seeing the man's eyes, when we should see how clean his patient's teeth are, and how she can eat ice cream without screaming in pain.

I think they are trying to convince us of the spokesman's honesty. People like to look into a person's eyes and if they meet their gaze, they are being honest--or so the conventional wisdom goes. I'm pretty sure they're trying to convince us the dentist is honest. I do watch commercials occasionally but I haven't seen this one.

It does not do it to me. You can look into some people's eyes, and they will still lie. It does seem rather silly to me. I mean it is worse then those infommercials where they had several machines to show how well the product performed.
