a lot of people are confused on how to answer this question. I think there is no wrong or right answer for this but what the interviewer maybe want to know is how you present your self and how well do you speak. They the impression from this question or may be it is just an ice breaker. so, how do you dliver your answer?

This is so far the most common question asked in an interview. though there is no right or wrong answer to this, you need to highlight your abilities that they might find you fit for the position they are looking for...something that you have not written on your resume/CV.

That is so tough. i hate those hard questions at interviews. It is almost if they decide they like you or not.

Yes, this is a basic question but so hard to answer and yet we tend to ignore this uestion not giving so much with this. Unknowingly, they are giving us a first impression on how we say things.

In my opinion, different interviews require different answers, though you're just a person. When an interview takes place, the interviewer should learn something about the interviewees, and choose the one who is competent for the position. Some positons require that you should master the knowledge or skills,so the interviewers will ask you such questions to learn about whether you have gained what they need. However,if you go to hunt a saling job.The purpose turn to learn whether you react suitably and have some similar experience. So you should learn what the job you are hunting ask you for,and get everything ready before the interview.

That's probably the most common question in an interview. Companies would want to know if your personality and qualification match the job. Although there may be no right or wrong answers to this question, I still believe in doing a little research on the company so you can say something about yourself that is in line with company values.

Its very simple adeena2000, If this kind of asked in your interview then first tell your name, then your graduation details, your hobbies and your work experience. Finally your family background. These whole things includes your self introduction.

What you said is such a basic answer. It is already given int hte resume. I think you will be judged on how you answer and how say something more which is not written in the resume.

I normally would say qualities about myself that they are looking for for that job position. But you also want to say some things that are like flaws because no one wants the perfect person. That's like hiring a robot.

I am a team player. In my quiet time at home I like to do beadworkd, sew, write, and many other crafts. When it comes to work I do my best at my job and I try to learn what I need to learn for my job. I love to learn new things and I am very interested in my education.
