Its been all over the Mom who injected Botox into her 8 year old daughter to fix those wrinkle lines. Kids are getting old fast these days. Had to beautiful for those pagents. Do I agree with what Mom did, no. Absolutly not. Thats just pure stupidity and being vain. What she has taught her daughter is wrong. The disrespect for her safetly is rediculous. I dont fully agree with her losing her daughter though. I think the daughter shld be placed with family and not into state custody to go into foster care. That wld cause even more damage. Her face has been plastered on TV, her Mom has been put down and now shes taken away. Her world is turn upside down. Was the child in danger? I dont think so. I dont think she was in immediate danger of dying. Her Mom was beating her, she was injecting her like an idiot. Her mom needs to be taught how to parent safetly and put into counseling. Obviously the Mom has issies of her own she needs to work out. I believe the daughter shld be put in counseling as well. I also believe they shld be banned from pagents. This shl not be allowed and it shld come across to all pagent families we find out your doing something illegal or putting a child in harsm way you will be banned from all pagents. This is a huge mess. I think it can be cleaned up though with work and patience. We need to focus on the children in immidiate danger of their abusers and helping the Botox family by working with the family and not causing anymore trauma to this child.

When I saw this on TV I couldn't believe what I was seeing. A needle going into an 8 year old girls face filled with botox. I don't think this person should be a mother at all. She is teaching her daugher that looks is more important then anything else. But more importantly this is poison being put into a childs face. The mother needs help because she is a very sick person in my opinon and that child needs to be totally evaluated. There are unfortunately to many parents in this world that should never be parents. They don't deserve the title at all. I'm beginning to think like everything else parents to be, need to get a license to do so. They can only get it after passing a mental and parental skills evaluation.

The license thing I understand. You need a license to fish and hunt and drive a care, but anyone can be a parent. Problem with getting a license to parent though, than the government wld be telling us how to raise our kids and any quirks you have cld ruin that possibility taking our freedom of child birth away. We just need to help the parents who do stupid stuff. Although as a parent and Im sure any parent wld agree we all do something someone else dosent agree with. Botox is a bit over the line and she definatly needs help. Teaching her daughter about looks and making her believe they are all that matters is horrible. Its also everywhere though. These girls are learning they have to be a stick and beautiful to be accepted any where. I have to fight against the media to teach my daughter as long as she is happy and healthy she is beautiful. She dosent need to be a size 0 to impress anyone.

I think the mother has some bit of psychological problem doing that to her 8 year old daughter.
In my opinion, the child should be given to her grandparents for care and guidance as she grows up. The mother should be also into counseling and be for the time being be prohibited from coming near her daughter. She should only be allowed to see her when she has completed counseling.

Maybe not keeping the mother away totally, but with supervised visits. Were not just talking about punishing the mother when keeping her away from her daughter, but her daughter as well. The Mother needs though thats for sure and I do agree the daughter shld be with another family memeber until Mom is figured out.

I haven't heard this one yet. Guess I'll have to go look it up. This mother makes me sick. She deserves having her daughter taken away from her. I could never in a million years think of doing that to my daughters, ever! Apperance is NOT everything. Pagent's should be banned for children, period. I dont believe in the show that is on tv for children as young as babies. She is no parent in my eyes. She's a discusting pig. That needle could have caused so much damage to that young innocent child. She could have gotten an infection for being so young and not under a doctors care while doing so. As I am sure she did not need Botox. This child needs to go to a loving home weather it be with family or not. Makes me wonder what made her mother do something so crazy as this. Makes me wonder if her own parents are a little loopy as well. I just hope this little girl doesnt have anymore trauma and hopefully her muscles dont have any damage done.

Hi. tink91879. I have heard about this. I feel that her mom was very wrong to inject her daughter with Botox injections. Her daughter was beautiful just the way that she is already. I don't see why her mom felt like getting Botox injections would have increased her chances of winning in the Beauty Pageant. Her mom does not even understand what true beauty is. Beauty is defined from the inner part of our hearts, not from the outside. Now her child has to suffer because of something that SHE wanted done. This was all of her doing, her daughter was innocent in all of this. I think that this mom needs a reality check, and she may be dangerous because she made her daughter get Botox injections against her own will. Therefore, her daughter should be placed into Foster Care with parents that are going to love her and not abuse her.

It is a sad subject. I think the mom needs to go to a family plan, and counseling. I don't think the daughter is safe being with her, she should go to her grandparents or some immediate family, not to be pushed or shoved into another family so quickly.
As for the pagent I agree they should be banned its is an unfair advantage. Like steriods in sports.
What 8 year old gets wrinkles?
Its shocking that a mother would do this to her daughter. A mother is supposed to mold her daughter into a beautiful young women with flaws and all.
Not telling here that botox is the way to stay young, to take care and respect, and love yourself, to bring confidence into the child not banish all that, and say that this will make you beautiful.
Because that doesn't make anyone beautiful. Beautiful starts in the inside the person and knowing that then the person is beautiful.
Its awful of what this mother did to her little one. There is no excuse. I will pray for both of them to find peace, solice, and beauty.
Its disgusting, disrepectful, and I believe the botox is an danger to a child, her mind is fully there, she don't know what she wants. Its a shame really.

I agree this child has suffered enough and all of them need help and prayer. We need to teach our children, love respect, happiness and being healthy. Its a fight against the media. The pagents dont help. Moms dressing up their girls to be something they are not. We need to look at what were doing and fix this problem.

I think it is disgusting because Botox freezes the muscles so they can't cause wrinkles in the future, and a growing child's muscles need to move and grow, and this could be a really big problem in the future. This is also child abuse because I doubt the child had botox injected willingly, so this is forceful! I also think child pagents are disgusting, they try to make little girls looks like strippers and put makeup and pushup bras on them and all kinds of other pedofile-esque things that should be considered illegal. I hope this mom does some jail time for this, and I hope the child doesn't get a deformed face from that poison.

This is child abuse. The daughter mentioned it hurts getting these injections and they scared her. Pagents shle be looked into. I have watched Toddlers and Tiaras and its crazy what these parents do. If I did a pagent with my daughter it wld only be natural. Little girls do not need make up, revealing clothes, fake hair, eye lashes, nails, spray on tans, flippers, etc. Might as well get a doll and dress it up and prance it around. All children are beautiful and unique and we need to teach them what the media isnt, being Happy and Healthy is more important than being a size 0 to attract all male attention. Girls have it hard enough without this on their shoulders.

Its not good for the child's condition. Childen's skin are so soft and injecting that thingy may cause some infections to the child.
