Hi Mylotters, She is an early riser but yesterday was not the same day someone knocked on her room she is not answering, no sign of any movements after 15 minutes of knocking and she is not answering they was bothered someone get the key duplication of her room to their shocked it seems she was already dead someone tapped her face, try to move her but she was not moving someone notice the empty foil of different kinds of medicine inside the room Darn she took all the medicine she overdose herself they take her to the nearest hospital. The doctor confirmed she overdosed herself but nothing much to worry they just need to sucked out the pills she slept for 20 hours, I know she did not attempt to have suicide she just want to sleep so deep so she can forget all the troubles on her mind I felt it was the longest day I had but I am happy that she is fine now and nothing to worry I hope she will not do this anymore we cannot bare to lost her in this way Do you ever experience the same? Have a great day everyone!

Who is this she , may I ask? Is it your family member ...pardon me if I've missed the information anywhere. Glad that she's fine. I agree with one responder that she needs counseling and gentle care. Hide all pills from her sight from now on and hoping she will reach a speedy recovery.

That was a really shocking incident of course. Some people do not realise what they do when they get depressed- and how it affects their friends and relations. I think she really needs some counselling and some one to console her problems. Try to discuss the problem with her and try to reassure her. It will do better. All the best! Regards, Ajith.

A woman usually keeps herself locked from others i guess. She usually don't speak out everything out to others unless she's found someone who can open up her mind. And if someone is successful, she tells them everything. If there is someone who can do that, make the person to talk with her. She won't agree that things are troubling her- you just have to bring it out of her! I'm pretty sure something's troubling her... Happy mylotting too!

Hello CAtch, NO wonder you're not online today, am sorry this had happened to you. This is indeed a frightening moment because you weren't used for her being late waking. yeah, we had some similar experience but never the scenario of some one taking pills . you know i've always wanted to have sleeping pills because i used to work in teh call center, i've always wondered if such exist. I am sure what ever the problem she has, it was kinda big deal on her that she had to overdose her sleeping pills to sleep the problems out. i hope you would have a fine day and a good recovery to her.

Dear bhaby I am happy she is safe, you should meet her in a group and try to console her, she should not do this in future, this is not the right way I know several such cases, most are due to failure in love affairs Some due to pooe result in examination Very few due to not getting a job matching to ones qualification. Thanks for sharing God bless you, have a nice day ahead. Professor ‘Bhuwan’. .

It's really sad that your friend (or relative) has done this. When I was in high school, we were a small group of 19 girls in class (compared to the earlier 50). One of my classmates called me up one evening and asked me what would happen if she swallowed 20 pills of pain killers. I asked her immediately if she did any such crazy thing and she said 'No!' but she thinks another friend of hers did. I told her I didn't know what would happen and didn't give it much thought. This happened on a Friday and when we returned to school after the weekend, this girl was absent. No big deal. But I did mention to our other friends about our phone conversation. A couple of days of the girl being absent and then seeing her parents at school one day (they were abroad at the time) got me all worried. No one moved to a different school in high school unless it was really really important. In the afternoon session, one of our teachers had a 'talk' with us and informed us that the girl was really ill and in the hospital. She then asked us if we knew anything about her personal life that was worth telling the teacher. We all kept quiet then....but after the teacher left, the rest of my classmates forced me to tell the teacher about the conversation. So, I did that....and then I get to know that she did indeed swallow those pills and had to have her stomach pumped! I met this girl last year (after a gap of 15 years) and she is doing quite well for herself now. We still don't know what motivated her to do what she did then.

ya, i also had to face a situation where one of my family member just got into depression. we could see that there is big issue in front of us but we are not able to help. we had to rush her to hospital and doctor just gave her pills for a calm rest and treated her accordingly, but that night was one of the worst nightmare of all of us. It took her more than a year to fully recover.

Who is this girl to you? It doesnt say in the discussion. I am assuming if you are writing about her she is someone very special to you. That is so sad that she tried to kill herself. I've been there before feeling sad enough to want to do away with myself. When I hear someone else who has feelings like that it breaks my heart because I know how awful it is.

I'm not sure who "she" is, but I'm glad that she survived this overdose. It is sad when someone takes so much medication that it almost kills them (or in some cases it does). I hope that once she recovers from this, that she is able to get help if she has problems so that she doesn't feel the need to take too many pills to "solve" them. Have a great day!!!

That was close. Good thing, you noticed that it was unusual for her not to have gotten up early. Try to do what you can to divert her attention to her problems. Or maybe you could have her open up to you all her problems, so she will feel relief having it come out of her . Try to make her happy.

thank God nothing worse happened to her. well i had a friend who had hard time recovering from a break up. well i cant blame him, he gave everything to that girl, and literally everything. they lasted for 4 years, they're even living in one house for about 1 year. we all thought they'll be married few years after finishing college. my close friends and i were all witnesses to their love life, to their dreams... but we were shocked when we knew they suddenly split. my friend drank an insect killer spray and froze himself in the tub while ice-cold water was showering on him. his parents are in the states and he is living on his own here in Philippines. it's only us - his friends - that are here for him through thick and thin. he was in that shower for like half day!

Everyone goes through these stages in life, when one feels that he/she needs a good sleep to forget the problems that he/she is facing. I have too. Thats when I tend to drink overlimit. It usually lasts for a day. However the next day, I say what the heck? I've been through such situations before. So whats new. That is when life begins afresh.

She is blessed that she had someone check on her. My uncle recently accidentally overdosed. He had horrible trouble sleeping and was in terrific pain. He did not know that the pain medicine he was taking was building up in his blood and he continued to take it as directed. My grandmother found him and could not rouse him. He was taken to the hospital and had his stomach pumped. I assume that is what she had happen to her. I hope someone can be with her to help her through this.

it happened to me, in my teen years, due to my stupidity for not reading the prescription well... should be smarter than that accidentally overdose) :)), I didn't meant to but it happened. and I slept for 3 days.. after my dad found me in my room and took me to emergency room. I learned a lot since then, to be more careful, never want it to happen again, this life is so precious. my dad "therapy" is to keep me busy with my hobby.. painting, music, art, dance.. and keep me away from all stressful things around me, by letting me know, how beautiful life can be, and to appreciate life better.. I always thankful for what he have done.. now I live to tell the story. such a lesson in life, wish she learn her message well, recover soon, and I wish her all the best
