his pain for our gain

Every year i hear about people who have their hands and feet nailed to a cross for a brief time to imitate the crucifixion of Christ. These misguided soul may mean well, but their futile self-torture is only a tiny fraction of Lord's physician pain and nothing of his clap spiritual agony.

Nobody is worthy enough to do of what Jesus did. I mean, nailing on the cross and make them beaten is not what Jesus meant to carry your cross and follow me. Jesus is perfect and His blood is precious enough to rid all away our sins and healed our diseases. We cannot judge them, but I believe that's not what God wanted them to do. Instead, repent of our sins and have total surrender our lives to God and live our lives each day according to His will.

Well I find those crucifixion scenes agonizingly disturbing. And for me they do not need to do that. I mean God sacrificed himself for us to be saved. He didn't sacrifice for us to follow us or be nailed to the cross. God resides on our body so we must take care of it.
