I'm retyping this for the second time in a role, as I'm getting rather frustrated with mylot.com.
The first discussion typed but got deleted due to "internet bad request"!
My discussion title about "how much water do you drink everyday" has been deleted by mylot.com due to violation of their whatever terms. Do you think this is a poll question? I doubt it isn't!
I'm going to bring this question today as a reminder of the previous of my deleted discussion.
Drinking water is essential and it helps to cleanse out body from toxicity. The thing is how much is enough??
I realised I have also mistaken thirst as hunger too. Do you know by drinking some water, you could eliminate your hunger too?

Aawww, why are you upset? Rules, rules, rules, they are everywhere! Just have to follow them. And yes, it is a poll question. I guess that's why it got deleted.
Now to answer your discussion: Yes, sometimes I do drink water just so to fill my tummy for a little while longer. It can eliminate your hunger but not for long. I try to drink lots and lots of water, but sometimes fail to do so cause of being too busy working and forgot the important things. Not good!

Hi Jlyn, you and Jackie both from same country, so trust me, she only sounds upset but she is not. She is a very cheerful lady. And both of you should also get to know each other.
I will learn from you to drink more water. The kind of "shui" I like is better found in the wallet though. Hehe...

Hi Keat
Maybe you can share some of your good "shui" with me cause I am very thirsty right now, lol!
Yes, Jackie and I have already gotten to know each other and we are enjoying each other's comments , although I very seldom post discussions. I pretty much like to comment on people's discussions. Hmmm, I've never quite responded to your discussions that much, how come yours never appear in my inbox? I should check on your profile more often.

hi,
Looks like you're not just a coffee addict, but also water addict! lol
When you realised drinking water will help to cleanse your body toxin and prolong your health, you will start to drink more water and it become easier to drink even more!
Me too, a coffee addict, and it's not good for my bones in longer run.

I drink an awful lot of water and therefore do an awful lot of peeing! Having said that, though, I feel far better than I felt when I drank tea and coffee. I have more energy, better kidneys, feel more balanced with no highs and lows, and yes, don't eat so much. Now I crave water and not coffee!

I don't know about humans but dolphins distinguish between hunger and thirst this is because in the wild dolphins get all the water they need in their food as they are mammals and cant drink salty sea water however if you spray fresh water at them through a hosepipe they will drink it however they will then not eat for a couple of days.Maybe if you had put and why on your original question maybe it would not have been deleted as it would have provoked more of a discussion.

Hunger plays a very important role, we tend to eat a lot when we are hungry, but as you said about replacing hunger in place of thirst, is quite difficult. because if you have decided to drink lots of water and quench your thirst then probably you are wrong, because the more water you drink when your hungry the more hunger you will feel to eat something quickly. This also same applies to hunger in replacing of thirst you can eat when you are thirsty but your mood and your body will always tell you to have both.

hi prince.
well, different people have different needs and appetite. One thing for sure by drinking more water, it does help to reduce carving for food. of course, we cant replace food intake with just drinking water only! :D

hi jacklintan,
Maybe it got deleted because of similar topic. I mean, maybe the topic you have started has similarity or was often discussed in the past (like tons of times). But don't get upset, things like this happened, you might take use of the search tab and see if the topic you are going to start have been discussed already.

And for your topic, Water is so important and we can't live without it. For me, it is also like hunger and we could die too if we weren't able to consume the right amount of it like that of food.
Happy Lotting!

Hey there hope you day goes well
Yes I finally in my life decided to be healthy and for the first time 3 years ago substituted all colas with strictly water. On my workout days I am known to drink almost a gallon of water throughout the day. I do know that it does help to fill me up and curb the appetite most times.
Aside for my healthy eating the water has helped detoxify my system where at my age I felt I was going through puberty and was getting a few pimples on schedule each and every month. Even with all the prescribed treatments and over the counter stuff, I still got 2 - 3 pimple each and every month. I have very clear skin now for 3 years and attribute it to the my water drinking.
I do not mistaken thirst as hunger because I do have to eat 3 - 4 meals a day but have noticed that while I am drinking water I do eat less.

I am so happy to see you here, HWG in response to Jackie's discussion. I am less than healthy where food and drink is concerned. Like yourself, I eat enough but I don't drink enough. This post reminds me that coffee is waiting for me. hehe...
And Hi Jackie, don't stress over the deletion. It happens to the best of us. Cheers!

Hi tiffnkeat
You really should try and force yourself to drink more water, not wanting to sound like a nagging mom, but I too would not drink any because I detested the taste. In fact my first few days I would fill a water bottle and put it on my desk and 8 hours later only maybe 3 sips I would take. Then one day I started to gulp it and treated it like medicine with the yucky looking face gestures.
Voila I kept drinking it and absolutely enjoy it now. With regards to the deletion. No sweat at all Jackie, it does happen to the best of us. I have had 2 deletions and although I was sad because one of them had 50 responses and I had commented on all as well. After reviewing the guidelines I realized my mistake.
Just keep in mind when you ask a question and someone can answer I drink 3 cups of water a day, it is considered a poll because there really is not much to discuss, even if you came back and said" for these reasons you should drink more, etc, etc..
So as you did with this one anything in the guidelines can be discuss as long as you are astute.

If you see tiffnkeat, you will see money. :) He might also neglect his health for the "shui" which means water=money. LOL
wow, you eat alot 3-5 times of meal? whoaaa....~~~~
Some people do need to exercise abit when comes to drinking water. If you happened to drink little water as required, you will be risked with health problems.
The reason why I asked this because I noticed I have started drinking more water than usual as to make my weight loss program a success. I have consider the pro and cons of drinking water (alot) in the long run. So, that is the reason why I came out with the previous discussion about how much water do you drink everyday.
Anyway, the intention of the discussion is good. :)
Thanks, everyone!

I don't drink water . I don;t like the taste or should I say that it is tasteless. If I Had to drink just water , I wouldn't drink anything. And no , I don't eat or drink until I Know I'm hungry and thirsty. I can tell the difference.I usually eat a huge meal at the end of the day. By that time I'm hungry And Thirsty.

You are right! I have found that by drinking water sometimes I no longer feel hungry. That is because I wasn't hungry I was just thirsty. I have also figured out that drinking water with my dinner causes me to eat less. It must push the food down I guess.

hi zuki,
one best method to reduce food intake is to drink a galss of water before your meal. It helps alot to minimise food intake and dilute your food in your stomach.
:) cheers

As I write, I prefer to drink water or Pepsi in the morning. This helps me to lose weight. Recently though, I snack too much. I have to force myself to only drink water.

hi Rob,
Water, YES, pepsi...NO...
Pepsi is soda drink and they have high contents of sugar. The caffeine contain will be addictive and bad for your health.
Reduce drinking "fake" waters and drink more real origin water, ya!
Be good :D

thats a shame that your other discussion has got deleted. i hope this one goes better for you. i've always been a big water dirnker since i was young just how i was raised. only have pops and juice occassionally. which those are obviously not so great for you amyways. im now trying to drink more than a litre a day. i find it does help with those feelings of hunger. now when i feel those feelings i'll drink water first before eating.

Ooh, I'd like to know this too. This is an interesting question you've got their. Sometimes, when I drink water, I do feel a little full, and it feels like your body's swelled with water. Maybe that is acting as material for your stomach. I have no idea, but maybe a professional will know the answer to it It's my first post too :)

hi jcll77,
body swell when you drink water, probably could happened. Maybe due to lack of exercise as you need your body skin glands to sweat out the toxins and other bad minerals from your body.
So, after you drink, you might need to pee and it helps to reduce bulging in your stomach and you feel more relax.
Welcome to mylot!
