When you see a photo does it make you want to go there?

Ew, your local beach sounds dreadful i dont blame you or dreaming of a nicer place. I also fall in love with photgraph and make up a whole senario in my head of exactly how i want the holiday to hapen... it doesn't always though. My beaches are nice but when you consider the options globally there is so much to see, i could never afford to visit all the places i have dreamed of going i really love the tropical island theme places but some places are so beautiful i could have never imagined them beforeiseen the photo, then i imagine myself there having the wow of a lifetime.

I like to collect post cards from all over the world, and, yes, there are so many beautiful places I´d like to be in, that I try not to think much of this nowadays, but, indeed a beautiful picture can makes you wish to be there, and placing you in there, somehow))))))

I agree that Machu Picchu is amazing but I doubt I'll ever go. I remember seeing the Mesa Verde ruins when I was a child, I was beyond thrilled when I actually GOT there! It still excites me to think about it...

Dear maximax8, Oh yes, I remembered seeing some tourism photos on Adelaide just recent weekend. I was reading the brochures and the Painted Desert really stole my heart. How I wish I can visit this wonderful place with my son. I have not been to Adelaide yet, I had visited to Sydney and Gold Coast years back.

i love natural pictures. Am an addict to it.Whenever i see brazilian photos i wish am there in the photo since i like brazil very much.

oh yes saw a pic of the pyramids and desperate to go there..hope will be there someday..yes seeing a picture affects your mind and urges you to go and see that place desperately..

Oh yes all the time! A place I have yet to visit is the Seychelles and I see pictures and think 'wow!' Hopefully one day I will get to go! Another place is Zanzibar and also Madagascar!

Hi Maxima, yes I do... I am a Tourism Management student and I am very keen on reading travel-related blog websites. Whenever I see pictures of different tourist destinations, it makes me want to go there. however, travelling via plane is a big no no for me. why? because i have experienced difficulty in breathing while on the plane and it happened not only once but thrice. :( i don't know maybe my illness has something to do about it. if given a wonderful opportunity, I would like to visit the Eiffel Tower in Paris-France, Machu Picchu in Peru, the pyramids in Egypt, the great wall of china, the carribean and a lot more... Haayyy. I am so hating my life right now. I am inept of doing things that I love. :'(

Attached (or below) is a picture of the local beach where I grew up. It is already a beautiful place, so I've never had the urge to go to other beaches or islands in the world. Instead, I wanted to go to metropolitan cities. At first I didn't want to live there, but I wanted to experience it for a few days. I currently live in a suburb of one major city, and it works for me.

Pictures and posters (especially the really good ones) can really attract one to explore that place right? In the airports in the Philippines, there are posters all around of all the tourist spots here. And by merely seeing at them, I want to go to each and every place that these posters show. Upon returning from a vacation and looking at those, I always wish that I'm again somewhere, in any one of those destinations in the posters. That's how these posters call on me .

oh yes, oh yes! I dream of going to different places and when I see photos of places I have never been to it makes me envious. There is this picture of Bali Indonesia that makes me drool whenever I see it. I hope I get to visit that place someday.

When I was a kid, I collected pictures of ancient ruins in Europe. I promised myself I would go there someday. That promise is yet to be fulfilled.

I am not going to lie I tend to want to go to a certain place just from looking at a certain picture. Like when I see photos of the Bahamas on magazines and even the internet I have this yearning to go there. I just love the blue water and the palm trees and the water falls. I love how everything looks so green. I can just imagine me stepping in the clear blue water splashing water on my friends. Taking pictures and posting them on my facebook; letting everyone know I'm having a good time.

oohh yeah pictures invite you to go there, i really like yosemedy park in california, the frozen everest, rocky mountains, amazones in brazil, wow i coulnd finish name all the places i wish to be there, i think you also enjoy every place you have visit right? everytime i see a lake on a picture i imagine myself fishing or swimming there, you make me just dream about it,

YES! my boss went on a missions trip to Turks and Caicos and i wanted to go. Some co-workers have gone to Indonesia and are returning today and i would have loved to go with them. last night on tv, my favorite show, Canadian Pickers were on the east coast of Canada (in Nova Scotia) and last week they were in Prince Edward Island and i would LOVE to go back there again. i would move there in a heartbeat!

I rarely get tempted by photos. These places do exist, but they seem to be in another universe to me! Pictures can also lie, and I know that the beautiful place outside my front door is real :-)

Hi. maximax8. I have seen many photos that were very alluring. I have always wanted to go to the locations that are on these photos. I don't know the actual name of these places, but I would love to travel to these places. I have an wild imagination and I would love to pack my bags, I will make sure that I have plenty of spending money, a few cameras that has plenty of film in it. I will also bring three cans of mase spray, just to be on the safe side. When I see a photo that is very beautiful, I become mesmerized with this photo and I start to daydream about actually being right in this photo, or going to the location of where this photo has been taken.

There are many places that temp me. Machu Picchu is one of them but I also love pictures of Greece and only yesterday, while watching a movie I desperatly wanted to go to Venice. I went there for a day only and 30 years ago. It is the time to come back. As for Machu Picchu, we could go together. How would you like that?

So many to mention maximax8! I have Firefox Personas that show different photos running along the top of my screen every 15 minutes. Earlier there was a photo showing green grass, sand, sunloungers, palm trees and gorgeous blue sea, and no, it wasn't Blackpool lol. In fact, I've no idea where it is but it looked so inviting..and warm, something we're severely lacking in Cumbria at the moment..warmth.

i have so many places i want to go to. the central plaza in Volterra, Italy and also the clock tower. In Greece!!! the different places described in books, and also those places that you can only see there. and also my beloved Japan., ^^ i want to experience first-hand the four seasons. want to see mount fuji with my own eyes. and also learn the history in greece and italy!!!
