Tom & Katie Marry - How did this photo happen?

It's an absolutely beautiful wedding dress and a lovely photo of Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes after their Italian wedding.... BUT, how did they manage to look the same height on the wedding day?
It's always been my impression from photos that she is taller than him flat-footed, and never seems to shy away from high heeled shoes. Is she bending her knees under the dress? Does he have lifts in his shoes? What gives?
What do you think about this wedding that finally happened, and this mysterious(to me anyway) photo?

Personally I think this photo is airbrushed. Something just looks weird to me in his leg area, like they are extra long.

I never noticed that when I looked at the photo until now hehe. Yeah it definitely looks like she is bending her knees. Which I don't see what the whole purpose of that would be for a wedding photo. Everyone knows he shorter than her and I'm sure there are some non-posed photos that showed that lol.

LOL, I didn't even think of that. She must be bending her knees. I'm glad they finally got married (not that I should talk, our daughter was 10 months when we got married, but we had a very good reason). I'm just a little sorry she's stuck with the nutjob now.

I think Tom has his super dooper platforms on - he has loads of them for the movies he does so why not for his wedding?

Katie is living my dream and I give her all the love in the world. I remember tham talking about Katie being taller but i cannot remember how they said they resolved it for the wedding.

Hmmm. She's definitely taller than he is, so I'm sure she's probably shoe-less and bending her knees. I'm glad they finally got married, but I'm already taking bets as to how long it will last.

I think she's bending her knees. I wish all the hype about them would go away. I used to like Tom Cruise, but now I can't stand him!! Bleck!

Its just alittle too perfect for me. She is alot taller then him I think. I think she was bending her knees. HA HA.
