I have started watching the show Extreme Couponing on TLC. It got me thinking. I have been couponing for a few years now. I have saved lots of money with my coupons. But I know I can do better! I am going to challenge myself to getting things for free like those women do on the show. Does anyone else coupon?

I have started going on the website couponmom.com. They show all the deals in my area and what coupons to use to get them for free or very cheap. I just have to figure out how to get more coupons. That show is very inspirational. If they can do it then maybe I can too!

Thing is...I have been diligently working for about 3 months to find coupons online. I am member of quite a few coupon places like CouponMom. However..what the don't tell you...and what i have found out in my research... is that they ALL have the SAME coupons and unless I am missing something...you can only print the same coupon up to 3 times NO MATTER WHAT SITE YOU PRINT THEM FROM...and after that it tells you you have printed the limit. So how does everyone get so many coupons online? I can get 2-3 of each that I use...and then too....out of 85 coupons...there are probably only up to 20 for stuff that I use! I print some out just to see the price at the store and if it is acceptable, I'll use it, if not or I can get a cheaper brand...I just leave that coupon by the item and maybe someone else will use it, but it does me no good. So, online coupons have a trick...and no one is telling! So it doesn't do any good to be a member of multiple coupon sites, choose one and that covers it all.
Plus... they reload the first of the month... I have found very few new coupons during the month.
So if anyone knows of how to get more coupons....please share!

Try asking neighbors or family members to print some put for you do you can get extra. It does stink that they only allow 2-3 printed per computer. But try getting help. I have no problem getting a few people to print some out for me. Good luck!

I am lucky if I get one or two coupons that I can really use.I belong to a couple of online coupon sites, but I never get a lot of coupons on items I can use. I do get the Sunday paper, but lately there have not been much in the way of coupons in there either. I wish I had the same luck as those on tv.

It is hard to get the savings like those women do on the show. The first step is collecting coupons...alot of them. Then when something is on sale you will have 30+ coupons to get them all free. I am trying to come up with ways to get coupons so I can try my hand at it.

Well, it would be nice to eventually find ways to get a couple of items for Free, and I am sure if you watch the Sales, etc. things like this could happen, but to go to the extent these woman and couples do on the show is a little extreme for sure. I have not collected coupons and used them much in a long time now, and it is a lot of time and work. I have been known to use some and it does help for sure.

I want to try this but I don't really know where to look. I don't trust the sites where you have to download programs, but if there are good reviews for them, I might try them out. I don't really understand how it works because I always see those catalogues at grocery stores with "discount" prices, but it seems they are just listed as the price at the store? Where do you find coupons?
It's good that you have taken the initiative to save money.

You can download coupons and print them at home. The software is safe. I have never had a problem with it. You can find them in your Sunday newspapers and in some magazines. Lately I have even seen companies making Facebook pages and after you "like" them you can print a coupon!
