Would you rather choose DEATH over a painful cancer?

A neighbor who got a stomach cancer just hang himself to death because he could not bear not only the pain from his sickness but also the pain of seeing his family sacrificing financially and emotionally. Considering the financial burden of the medication in which I think that they could not afford because of he was just a mere carpenter and his wife is jobless, I could understand that he would gladly suffered the pain if only he is the only one affected.
If you we're on the same situation, would you do the same?

Hmm... that is a very sad and difficult situation. But if I were in that same situation, I could not do it - I could not take my own life. Because in my mind, the only one who has the right to give and take life is God. If He still allows me to live, even with cancer, then maybe there is something else that He wants me to do, or there is something else He has in store for me... and also I believe, if He wills, God will provide.

Hmm... I think if God will send messengers to help, they will come on time. If no 'messengers' come and you die 'waiting', then I think that only means, it is His will for you come back to Him already, it is your time. It is not that the messengers did not come on time, instead it is that there were no messengers coming...
But again the end of your life, that is His decision, I believe, not yours.
I wish the same for that man...

It really depends. If it's a cancer I could beat I would want to fight to be around to see my daughter grow up since I am all she has. If I was going to die anyway and there is no way I could beat the cancer then i would want to go. But I know i couldn't take my own life since I wouldn't go to heaven if I did so I would hope like another poser said that God would put me out of my miseries. I wantched my mom suffer from cancer when i was 15 and it was heartbreaking seeing her that way. A vibrant women go from a of life and energy to crippled up and in a lot of pain. She suffered more than any human shold have had too. We don't let animals suffer so why should humans?

I think in this case if the treatment is to expensive and my family does not have money to help me. I'll try to found some organizations that helps others like ONG against the cancer.

I guess I'll take the pain.., how precious life can be, once I die I will no longer be able to hold them, I would treat my day like it will be the last day every day by letting my love ones know, how much I love them, and spend my time with them as much as i can.. till finally I...., May god mercy me and lead my very way.. I just wanna die in peace... and share this life till the end. Amen...
Financial and medication treatment?.. this is something to do why we need to have health and life insurance while you still healthy.. (promotion bug: ON Mode) wkwkw...
