True friends are those to whom you can unload your burdens and share your deepest secrets. True friends are those who walk in when others walk out. (I read this somewhere.) True friends are those who will never betray you. True friends are those who stand by you in times of troubles.

*High five* I've always dreamed of the day I could have a friend like this but I'm so weird nobody gets along with me. :( I'm very introverted and bipolar...sometimes I meet people and talk for less than 2-3 minutes and as soon as I turn around I hear one of those mocking giggles or a "I hate that girl". People can be so mean. At times i even wonder if this so called true friendship is real..

true friends are the persons who you can trust, they'll be there in happiness or even in bad and worst things happens. They tell the truth and share secrets and you can also trust them. they are the one who will comfort you when you got a problem and the clown to make u laugh when you are crying.they are the one who will guide you in right things and tell you to avoid bad things. the one who will understands and consider things in you. they didn't chose friends who are just basing financially and basing outside of you. and.. The one who hugs and give kisses for you to show their love.. that's what true friends is...

like what you said, a friend would be there for you, in happiness and sad times, helps you when you're in trouble and also accepts you for whatever you are. accepts all your flaws, your weaknesses and encourages you when you are down :)

A true friend is a person who actually searches for me without me PLEADING them. Sadly my only so called bff in life never searches for me..she doesn't even like to see me in person...so yeah sometimes I consider to just stop talking to her but I don't have anybody else..

True friends are like family... Open minded to problems which he/she unable to solve it by itself. Instead, offering your help to others when they needed you most is a good sign of true friends.

The above respose expatiate the ture friend very well.
But I think sometimes a true friend can't be defined
by any words. almost everyone in the world must have
a friend,we need friend also.So I think that everyone
has a balance in their heart,we can identify true or false
friendship in life
