Love and consistency

Hi fellow members! See, I am in a relationship right now, and we're on a pretty solid stage as of the moment. I can honestly, truthfully, sincerely say that I've never been this happy. There are times, though, when I feel like I'm required to do this or that, on a regular basis. For instance, like when I reach home, I get to choose between: (a)Text her that I've just arrived at our subdivision, or (b)Text her when I get home, as in in my house. It's a bit pointless to compare between the two, I know, but thing is.. ..is consistency a necessity to express love to your partner?
