I hate Lady gaga's judas song and music video

I was shocked when my nephew was watching MTV and Lady Gaga's new song was shown.she was totally out of line when she used some religious icon that we christians used. She was even Mary magdalene in some scenes and one of her men has a crown with thorns! and there are crosses dangling in her boobs.
she knows that she has a young kids who looks up to her and some of this kids needs guidance! they would just imitate on whatever their idols are doing and i think It's not appropriate to do that.
Didn't she learned form her Alejandro's MUsic Video? the church criticize her for that and she did this again! I think she is just seeking attention or maybe she wants herself excommunicated????
I don't know whatevers going on her mind but I think there are some ways, a better way to express oneself in music. She could jave done it without using anything that would be too sacriligious for the point of view by a christian!

I haven't really seen the music video neither have I heard it, but I'm guessing it's pretty crazy and uncontrolled. But you're right, there should be people who should stop this insanity. It's worst enough that teens are obviously confused, I don't think it's doing anyone good when you're trying to be a bad role model.

yes, I don't know what's happening with the celebrities now! some of them are going insane (britney, lohan etc). I hope that those who are famous should be more conscious of what they are doing. Their fans look up to them and imitate what they are doing.

Maybe they think that they're so cool and all that everyone else are just small people who are waiting for news of whatever they'd do that they don't really care if they step on anyone toes.
Those types of stars should be banned and be given adult supervision.

yes, I hope that the music industry or in the entertainment industry they should set some regulations on their artist :) in that way there would be less performers who would go out of the line :)

God loves her just as much.
The Bible's not ABOUT Jesus or Mary or Judas! Those are just CHARACTERS IN A STORY people use to explain our status in the Kingdom of God. When we sleep, we throw away the characters and are left with the basic lesson they teach us: the full 360-degrees (or 540-degrees ... isn't that how many there are in a sphere?) of faith.
Then we are reborn and can play in the mud however we feel-like!

yup, God loves and forgive us all.
I am just deeply disturb with what she's doing. She has some young followers and she as an Idol to these youngster should have some responsibility and be a role model to these kids.

Where in the song does it say, "I want to dishonor my mother and father"? Nowhere? Do any of Lady Gaga's songs say that? Then the children are only fans of Lady Gaga by their parents' permission.
And if Lady Gaga leads the children to dishonor their mother and father, ... well, the mother and father should've Gaga-proofed their children (which could've been done with enough "Agapeland"-music!)

I am no fan of hers but neither am I a fan of religion as a whole. Its good that she can actually write her own songs. Im not sure if Judas is an icon but Jesus is to christans. Really though, I just don't understand why people take so much offence to this song, it is her way of experessing herself and at the same time, it makes her MONEY.
Why is it that knowbody moans about Judas Priest, I thought with a namelike that someone would moan (Im not, im a huge fan). But seriously, if I were her, I wouldnt listen to what religious fanatics are saying, the only two reasons why she is doing it is, because of the money and, her FANS want her to.

yes, she did it for money, but then again why do it using some religious icons? To get more attention?
and, she does not listen to anybody!What I am trying to convey here is..she could have made such music videos without using religious icon--that's all. there are limitations and boundaries that we follow and what she did was so out of the line.
I am not preaching here like some religious fanatic BUT I am just disturb that there are young audiences out there (who is watching her every move and imitating it)and she as an Idol should conform with integrity and be a model to these youngster. that's all

I don't care for the song... it's a little too... She went into this "let's imitate Madonna" phase with Born This Way and now she seems to be stuck there.... But the video... I have a soft spot for Norman Reedus so I can't make myself hate it, no matter how hard I try. :D
I do agree with what you are saying, to a point. When I was the age of the kids you are referring to, who are influenced by her and look up to her, my parents monitored what I listened to. My dad liked Madonna so I got to listen to her but if I even THOUGHT of dressing like her there would have been problems. I think there are a lot of parents these days who are willing to allow pop stars to raise their children and it puts a lot of pressure on the stars to be role models on top of everything else they are doing.

I read this site that has an interpretation about Lady Gaga's songs and music videos. Whether it is just a coincidence or not, Gaga is trying to attract attention by using religion. They know very well that people will react to this. I don't like the song either specially her song Alejandro. I like her songs before but when I read that site, I don't like Gaga anymore and will not patronize her songs anymore.
