I read this manga and watched the season one of the series. This is a totally different genre from Death Note but it is exciting as well. The story is about creating manga, are you familiar with this anime? Can you share your thoughts about this?

I know this anime Bakuman but i didnt know that its from the same creator of deathnote. Im kind of suprise actually, the genre is totally different. But its a good anime as well. Its kinda cute on how mashiro and azuki developed their relationship. But the thing that i dont get is they both have mutual feelings for each other then why do they need to wait for both of them to achieve their dreams first before they become an item. *sigh* well thats how the story works..
Happy mylotting :)

I dropped Bakuman manga a few months ago as I can't stand all the female characters and the 2 main characters. I also don't really like the idea of Saikou being motivated because of his (very lame) romance. As for Shujin.. I don't understand why he needs to get married suddenly. As for the female characters.. I find them all annoying =.=
I first read the manga because I found the concept very interesting too. Even though I found the romance aspect super lame, I still stick to it.. until the part where they decided to stop drawing the gag manga because they want to challenge Eiji. I feel that by doing so, they are not responsible to the readers who like the gag manga at all. Even though they were sort of being compelled by the editor to draw the gag manga, they were the ones who decided to draw it and I feel that they should do their best to finish it and not dropped it halfway. I think they are not drawing manga because they love manga but because of romance (Saikou) and their competition with Eiji (Saikou and Shujin).
My favorite characters are Eiji (reminds me of L) and Fukuda (very cool and nice guy).
