It would depend on how much you actually know. If you've seen the abuse and/or evidence of abuse, then you should act on it promptly. If you call Social Services and report suspected abuse, they are supposed to keep your name annonymous and check into the matter. They're the professionals. Let them be the judge of what needs to be done for the children. Could you live with yourself if you didn't report the abuse and something happened to a child?

I would talk to them about it first and if that didnt help, I would go to someone higher up and someone who could actually do something about it
