Gossip disgust to everybody...

some time ago I heard a person saying bad things about me, at this time this person persist, I like to stay quiet, calm... I can't see this person, but the anger thing is provoking such a bad environment. That's the way to get popularity? what do you recommend to this kind of person that gets popularity with wrong ways?

These people will realize later in life how wrong they are to talk about such nonsense. They just want attention because they don't feel good about themselves. They need to say bad things about others in order to give themselves self esteem.
