I feel cheated out of life.

Have you ever encountered that feeling? That feeling when you've gone through the eye of a needle just to get what you want but you end up losing the very thing you wanted?
That's what I am going through right now.
After having finished my masters while studying under two additional major subjects and balancing my time with my kids and teaching in a 30 unit, three subject load of 500 students, I managed to pull through. All that time I was thinking about how good it might feel to be rehired as a teacher in this prestigious school I'm in, knowing for myself that I did what is nearly impossible, to fulfill my promise to the dean that I will finish my degree before the end of the semester.
That is until the dean decided to fire me for being sick and absent.
But I was only sick and absent simply because they forced me to finish the degree and forcing me to teach in a heavy load.
So now she says I must admit that it was MY FAULT that I am fired.
Somehow I feel cheated. Insulted. Fooled.
If it happened to you, what will you do?

That is so unfair. And very unreasonable. But you know what? There are a lot of things that you gained from that. You have your Master's Degree. It would do you good when you look for another work. Consider it an opportunity because you might just have something better in line for you. I sincerely wish more success to you!
