Hi jep!
I'm excited for our travel to Singapore this coming next week. We've bought our tickets as early as March so we've been waiting for a long time. I have suffered also from tons of worries because of my passport! I renewed my passport last March and it was supposed to be delivered on May 5 but I only got it on May 20! They said there were problems in Central Bank that caused the delay. I went to DFA twice and requested that they prioritize my passport since my travel is near and I'm glad they heeded my plea. You can't imagine the frustrations I felt during those times of uncertainties! I was already depressed for the lost money on the bought tickets and paid hotel. I was already thinking of how I will ever compensate for it. I'm just so thankful my passport arrived!!!
Congratulations to your cousin!

certainly good news indeed. i can imagine the stress the waiting entails. i remembered when i was getting my visa to south korea a few years back because i have a speaking engagement in a convention in jeju island.
it was october 30th already when i was informed by my office that my visa still has not been released and i had to fly to manila to get it. the convention was november 2nd.
so i cut my 2 weeks seminar by a day shorter so i can fly to manila. if i didn't get it that day, and with october 31st and november 1st being holidays, i would have to miss my flight to south korea and miss the seminar in jeju altogether.
it took several calls from s.korea, a fax showing a korean itinerary of the event that showed my name on it and a few more... to get my visa approved the very same day.
it was such a great relief that day.

This year I am doing something special: visiting nearby places near or far that I have wanted to go to. Like in March I took my disabled son and daughter to Exeter and we had lots of enjoyment there. In April we went to Slimbridge Bird Reserve which we found fascinating, interesting and very much fun. It is getting close to the end of May and we haven't yet had our outing this month. I am planning to fit in a trip to Cheltenham. My disabled son loves to travel by train and it takes two trains to get there. There is a week away in Yorkshire that I am most looking forward to. With my disabled son and daughter we will be traveling up to Scarborough by train and staying in a cheap guest house. We will be going to the Deep, having a ride on a steam train and going to a railway museum. I will be anticipating trips up to Whitby and Robin Hood Bay. I hope that your cousin had a lovely time at his or her wedding.

after a call i received a couple of hours ago from our company's training consultant asking me for my availability for 3 out-of-town activities as a speaker... i got really really excited and i look forward to her next call tonight to provide logistical details of our travel. the first one is coming up on tue, the 2nd one is next weekend. and the 3rd is 2 weeks from now which will entail 2 weeks of out-of-town travel.
i'm really excited about this and really look forward to the travel preparations without a hitch.
hagd!

Yes, i am anticipating going to the resort tomorrow with my cousins (6 siblings) , who suddenly appeared in the mall where our office is. They are going to attend the burial of an aunt. We agreed that i assist them to go to the resort owned by our company. I have to pull strings to my bosses to get discounts from that high-end resort.
For more than 10 years, we all haven''t seen each other, so we are all raring to have an updating of our married lives and all.
