It has been a overnight news item about the lax of treatment toward the prisoner that is former Governed Leviste of Batangas. The former governor has been spotted by a news agency to be roaming free around the national penitentiary. When the news broke out, the premier in-charge of the institution quickly separated himself from the incident. Turns out, he was a friend of the president and doesn't believe that he should be responsible for the mess. Apparently, money and influence speaks well in the prison system as it often speaks loud in the courts. What is your opinion regarding this incident? Do you think there is still redemption for the justice system and all its divisions?

I hope the person in charge of the prison would get booted out or at least penalized for his incompetence. He is clearly a incapable of running the system. If Pnoy won't do something about this then he's no better than the former President Gloria Arroyo. The first thing to do in these situations is assume responsibility.. clearly the person in charge is not a good leader.

Our prison system is lax it only favors those who are in power. Even our justice system is the same. They only benefit the powerful if you do not have money pity you. Even in Government agencies its the same. I would rather place my complaints in Isumbong Mo Kay Tulfo.

It's not new in the Bilibid. It is a practice even before as long as you will not be caught. There are ordinary prisoners who do same way who come in and out. Of course, it is with the consent of the guards. If he is an influential then he absolutely protected by a higher rank as well.
I hope this system will have a change of system.
