Hi bunnybon
To be honest with you when I hear the world is ending I pay no mind. I live the today, the now and the tomorrow. Thus far I am still here and do not plan for an ending because realistically if it were to actually end then there really is nothing to do about it. So my thinking is that I have enough negativity in my life to add more with such a thought.
I really do not think about the subject, I sleep and when I open my eyes I know I am included in the world for another day. So let us all live life and allow life to end when it so chooses it to end.

If your heart is right, it does not matter anyway. So, bunny does son have a new girlfriend?

GG told me early on here that myLot is the place to vent and share, so I try to find every opportunity to give her credit for that because so many of us are always will to listen and talk too.

Stop listening to man. Trash your prediction book. Start listening to God. Study your Bible.
"Concerning that day or the hour nobody knows, neither the angels in heaven nor the Son, but the Father. " Mr.13:32.
"A generation is going, and a generation is coming; but the earth is standing even to time indefinite. " Ec.1:4.
"For this what Jehovah has said, the Creator of the heavans, He the true God, the Former of the earth and the Maker of it, He the One who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, who formed it even to be inhabited: I am Jehovah and there is no one else." Isa.45:18.
"Further, God blessed them and God said to them: be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving upon the earth."Gen.1:28.
"The righteous themselves will posess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it."Ps.37:29.

Many people think that they know all about the end of time, but as jdyr777 has said, the Bible tells us that we will not know, so we should all be ready at any time.

Earlier I saw a post talking about something similar started by a new user and another user asked them why they had joined myLot today if the world is going to end tomorrow as they will not have time to reach payout
Of course it won't end tomorrow - will it?

Actually, do to a NDE I had many years ago, I don't believe this. Well, not in the way that many do. I believe there will be a transition of sorts, but not within a designated time known to man.
However, we do realize that we often live in patterns from experiences both of an individual nature, and the way history often repeats itself over all, which could with the belief cause something to happen. Plus the fact that even our best made plans are interrupted by life. The actions of other factor in. Mother Nature factors in.
What I really want to say is that I believe our very attitudes, thoughts, prayers, beliefs, etc., can change things for the positive or for the negative. But the experience of my NDE gave me hope that has not diminished with time.

Why thank you. If it helps others overcome then it has all been worth it. After all, would I be whom I am today if I'd experienced any differently.

Hi. bunnybon7. I did not believe it then, and I sure as heck don't believe it now.
I am getting so tired of people making these false predictions about when the world is going to end. The WORD is God and GOD is the Bible too. So, if they really want to know when the world will end, they should refer to the BIBLE itself! The Bible clearly states that no one does not know the hour of Christ's second coming. Not even Jesus himself nor the angels. So, if they don't know it then that means that no man on earth will ever know when Jesus Christ will come back. God only knows himself. So just knowing this, I am not even going to allow myself to become freaked out because a skeptical and a false prophet believes that the world will come to an end because of an Aztec Calendar. I am through worrying myself about this. I want to be able to live my life so that when that REAL time comes, I will be prepared. But that time will not be this Saturday or on January 1, 2012!

Back in the mid to late 60's when I was in high school I used to hear someone outside the school preeching about the end of the world. Not just one but many. And They were so sure of themselves. It was the end. Notrdomas is one who was pretty close in his predictions.

Just looked at Matthew chapter 24. There is a lot of info about what truly will happen but there is no exact date, just world events that show we are near the Kingdom of God. So if we choose to support this Kingdom, we have nothing to fear. We can live forever on this peaceful earth as everything will change. No more wars or wicked people.
In northern Europe we are already in May 22. Let´s just enjoy the days we have and use them well..
Well, at least you have a son who drops in now and then, and I hope you have some good friends too. Why not ask God to send you some??

I don't believe its ending tomorrow either, nobody knows when its going to happen, and I don't think they can predict these things. There's only person that knows and its God the Father, I realize that not everybody believes in God, but we all have the Freedom of Religion, and this is just my opinion, I'm not trying to sway anyone this way or that way. Religion is a very touchy subject to get in to...Have a good day.

Yeah the judgment day is today and now there is no life on the planet earth
but still i guess we took time to be here on mylot
There are people who actually believes all this and when the day comes and nothing happen they themselves start to feel stupid
i think instead of always thinking about the world is going to end this day or that day people should live in present and think of today instead of worrying there whole life for the judgment day

Lol! I don't think it's ending either. =P
I believe no one of us can really tell, as only the One above can. =P
Anyway, I also heard that the ones who gave the predictions that the world will end today are also ones who gave a prediction that the world will end back in 1994. Well... that got postponed though... .
Maybe the prediction for today will also get postponed...

I could be hit by a car when I'm out,or I could die in 2012,but I'll never know what is really going to happen until it happens. So what the point of thinking about such things? That can only make me engage into meaningless moping.

I believe the Bible, and it says that No Man knows the hour or day that the end will come. In another place Jesus even said he did not know. The end of time will not come with newspaper articles and all the rigamarole. It will come like a thief in the night.

If I believed this bologna, I wouldn't have slept my afternoon away. LOL I don't know why people keep trying to make these predictions when they really don't know. ONLY GOD knows, nobody else and that's the way He wants it. Even next year on December 21, 2011 is another day that's picked and I don't believe it either. Besides, even if it is, what can anyone do about it? Not a damned thing so why worry about something that no one can change?
The thing to worry about is how good a person have each of us been? Are we going to make it into Heaven? Have each of us asked for forgiveness for our sins? Do we believe in Jesus is our saviour? Those things are most important. The rest will take care of themselves with God's help.

Apologies, bunnybon. I am just seeing your post and have not received it by email. I have just posted basically on the same thing. Many apologies you know that I would not have done it if I had received your post. No, I don't think that that is going to happen. Man can predict all he likes but only God knows when the the end of the earth will be. Not man. again, I am so sorry.

End of the world predictions are always creepy to me, but I find it hard to fathom that it will be tomorrow. I have heard alot of people at work talking about it today. Some say that people have spent and sold everything that they have because they believe it so strongly. I don't believe it.
I think there was someone who claims to have translated a time in the bible. There was even someone today tell me that it had been predicted to the hour now...supposedly 6pm.
I have never really put a lot into the end of the world predictions.

I know they have said it lots of different times. I don't worry about it. If it ends up being that way there isn't nothing we can do about it and if it doesn't we would be worrying for no reason.I don't believe it.Good topic!

I feel like there's nothing to be all worried about, people keep freaking out because they actually believe the world's going to end but in all honesty they should be living their lives. Nobody actually knows when doomsday is.
I'm tired of hearing all these crazy theories of how and when the world will end. I just want to live my life peacefully without thinking of such terrible incidents.
