Do you think civil disobedience would work to oppose the RH bill? I don't think it will work.

RH Bill is a bill from my country that promotes population control by using contraceptives, family planning, etc. something like that. The issue is that Roman Catholics which is the most predominant religion in the Philippines, is against the bill.

Oh! Now I understand.Anything should be done. The Government can't make A Catholic abort a baby! If you Have to hide Every pregnant woman so the Nazis , Yes , I called them Nazis, can't find them , Then Do It! This is weird for me to say! I Never wanted kids. If I got pregnant I Would abort! But I think it is just as bad to make a woman abort a child she really wants as forcing a woman who never wants kids to have one. I'm pro Choice . The main thing is choice! so do what you have to. I think if you get enough people to disobey this measure , the better. If I were of weight I would encourage The establishment of a underground . Every pregnant woman goes to a safe house where she is hidden until the Baby is born!

RH Bill encourages responsible parenthood by widening the options of couples to family planning by introducing modern methods of contraception but it does not include abortion as far as I know. With the RH bill legislated, one is free to practice the traditional rhythm method. You can even have children if you like. Family planning and the RH bill can't be forced to people who doesn't want to abide by them. The least the government can do is to make the choices available for those who are open to the rationale behind them.

I will start first by defining what "civil-disobedience" means. It means that people in a country will not follow the laws. For example, we do not file our income tax return or violate a simple pedestrian rules. Its one way of showing our government that we are not please with the way it runs a country. For your question, I think it will not work. If RH bill will be passed into laws, then we will have a choice to a better family planning. If it will not, then there's always the next Congress to endorsed the bill. We are a Christian dominate country, therefore it is just a fact that someone in the church will never approved it. After-all, church and state can never work hand-in-hand as shown over our history.

Civil disobedience in what way? They can opt not to follow what is prescribed by the RH bill and produce a numbet of children again. what's so new about it? i guess the government can deal with that. But in terms of bringing people out in the streets, i don't think that would really work unless there will be lots of money and politicking involved.
