I don't know why the Mumbai Indians are gone down after getting 16 points!!! TO qualify for Play off they need at least one victory. But todays performance made them to down their heads. While at the starting of this IPL season they are the strong team but now became week team by scoring very low score in this IPL season that is also twice. If Kings XI Punjab won the game and if MI loose all the two matches then will they qualify for the Play offs?

It depends on two factors. They need to hope for a defeat of Punjab and just a win will see them through but in that case net run rate will play a role. But I believe MI will sail through as till now Punjab has an uphill task ahead. target is 199 and Marsh, Valthaty has departed early. So it seems almost nearly impossible. So the last match between MI and KKR will be just for the battle of 2nd place. If KKR wins they may take the second spot as they have a good net run rate. But MI has poor run rate so they may not able to reach there if RCB wins the last match against CSK because their run rate in very good. MI can't reach there. But if CSK wins and MI too defeat KKR, then KKR and RCB have to play in the eliminator match and the rest two will qualify for qualifier 1 match. In this format the top two teams get two chances to qualify for the final. And the remaining two team has to win two matches in order to reach the final.

Mumbai Indians' performance seems to be going down day by day. Yesterday against Rajasthan Royals, it was one of their worst performances. They have now lost three matches in a trot. at this rate their chances of getting qualified for the play off has been seriously hampered. The reason for the failure of Mumbai Indians is their lack luster batting as well as bowling. They have got the first 2 highest wicket takers in this years IPL but still they could not manage a wicket against R.R. yesterday. The rising heat may be affecting their key players. wish them good luck in their final encounter to get qualified for the play off.

I don`t know what has gone wrong with MI.In the beginning they were on a winning spree and going on famously. But suddenly their downslide has begun and they have lost all the last 3 matches and now twice to Rajasthan Royals, the 1st time they were bowled out for a paltry 97 and yesterday a 10 wicket shameful defeat.Sachin is turning out to be a bad captain once again as he has been changing his opening partner with almost every game. What was the neccessity to bring T.Suman as opening when there were others.suman was good in the mid order.AlsoBhajji opening the bowling was a complete failure as Watson cleaned him up and it was a rare thing for Malinga to get hammered.Munaf is also losing his concentration and cool and getting hammered.these are not good signs for MI and if KKR beat them then they may not qualify, which would be a shame.

IPL become quite interesting now, if today Kings XI Punjab loose the match then MI no need to win the next match they automatically qualifies for the quarter final vice-versa if Kings XI Punjab win today match with terrific run-rate and if MI loose the last match very badly then MI will be out of race and one more very interesting thing will happen if Kings XI Punjab win today match smartly then it is bad news for both teams(KKR AND MI) as they will play the last match against each other any team which loose the match might be knock out from IPL. SO, both KKR AND MI are praying that Kings XI Punjab loose today match. lets see who gonna make into quarter final i'm praying that Kings XI punjab win today match and make the last match of KKR AND MI very interesting one.

Another loss to Mumbai Indians today against Rajasthan Royals. They scored only 133 runs in 20 overs which was not sufficient enough to defend though their bowling has been good in this season with Malinga in very good form. Rajasthan Royals finished the match in 13 overs for no loss. Shane Watson played brillinatly scoring 89 off just 47 balls with 9 boundaries & 6 sixes & good support from Dravid as well. Dravid is not out scoring 43. Summary of the game, Shane Watson is the hero in today's match scoring 89 & taking 3 wickets. Shane Warne wins his last match as a captian of Rajasthan Royals & bid goodbye in style to IPL.
