Recent changes to mining system (May, 2011)

The mining system in Entropia Universe was changed rather radically this May. The most radical change is uniting the tools that were previously divided ingo ones useful for mining energy matters and ores. Now, every tool can be used for both types of resources. The mining seems to be easier and faster for those who mine for both. However, this change brings economical changes as well, because prices on many tools differed a lot between the categories. Please share your views on this change. I personally am not quite sure yet, mainly because it seems to be bugged - I noticed that I gain skills for mining ores even when I solely mine for enmatters. Little things like that irritate me, but I know I should not judge the new system based on them.
