Anyone heard of the pending Zombie Apocalypse

I heard this last night from my daughter and laughed! I thought she was joking, but then she told me that it was mentioned on sites like CNN and Fox News! Of course she got mad at me for laughing and had a very long discussion with my wife about the whole situation. Since she was so serious about it I had to check it out myself. Sure enought on the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) website there is in fact an article about what to do in case of a Zombie Apocalypse!! I love Zombie movies so I decided to read on. It is very generic and tells you to have water... ect. ect. ect. in case of an emergency. No mention that there are Zombies coming or Zombies being spotted anywhere. I personally think that it is a stunt to drive traffic to thier website for some reason. They said that they had so much traffic that it crshed thier website! Anyone else have any views about why they wanted to scare my daughter to the point of being afraid to go to sleep last night?

By far I am not craving for brains and I dont see zombies outside wanting to eat my brains. I know yesterday there is all that hype. But the hype didnt happen. Its awesome that I didnt believed it because if I fall for that trap I would have ended up buying a chain saw with my last salary since we all know that Chain saws are the best weapons against brain eating zombies.

Me personally I would prefer a metal baseball bat! I do not like the idea of having to find gas once the chainsaw runs out! LOL! But I would have to wear a riot helmet so the mess does not get in my mouth! LOL!! BTW it is Monday and we are still here! No end of the world, no zombies!

I might rather have zombies though than hearing Rebbeca Black's new song titled Prom night. Can you imagine a giant hamster-ball in a zombie apocalypse, It sounds kinda fun.

Well, the report on it that I read said that it was to get your attention. Let's face it, when they start talking about what to have on hand to prepare for an emergency, the usual stuff, blizzard, hurricane, etc, most people tune them out. It's the same thing over and over again. So, to make more people pay attention, they said it was what to do in the event of a zombie apocalypse. I guess to some people it might be a little scary to think of, but is it any more frightening than all of this 'the world is going to end tomorrow' fuss that's been going on lately?

I don't think anything said in the news should be taken lightly especially with all the crazy things going on nowadays. I wouldn't be surprised.
