Well I hope House will no longer pine after Cuddy. Lisa Edelstein will not be back for the last year of House, presumably due to budget cuts. This could have a drastic undesired effect on the show as the interplay between House and Cuddy was always a big part of the show. Now I can almost expectg that the lastyear of the show may go off gently into the night.

yes, she will be missed and did work well with House. i know house will come through. it is a very good show. the other actors are good too. you never know what is going to happen next?

Since this will be the last season of House, you have to wonder. Will the last show be a last show? For example will House kill himself, go off to a monastery, get fired, or will the show just end? Knowing that it will be the last season, you have o expect somekind of ending show.

It's too bad Lisa Edelstein had to go. I actually haven't watched season 6 and 7, so I don't know what went on between House and Cuddy. I know they hooked up, but when I found out about it, I felt it was the beginning of the end! :D
I always thought relationships in House were dysfunctional. Friendships are good, but when two characters hook up, there's almost always a breakup. Look at Chase and Cameron! And how could they pair Thirteen with Foreman? My most favorite couple was Amber and Wilson, but that didn't end well. :P
Will this be the last season?

This supposed to be the last season. Fox and the producers hd to haggle over the price per episode with Fox forcing a cut in the budget. At one point it was thought that Chase woul be the character cut but instead it wound up being Cuddy.

I loved Chase during the first 2 seasons..His accent is to die for.
I'm really interested in how this show ends! I hope we won't be disappointed!

This is grave news. I watch House mainly for House, Cuddy and Wilson. They make the show. It's like they pulled one leg off a tripod to me. They should have ended it with Season 7, preferably with Episode 22 After Hours.
How could they end it properly now without Lisa Edelstein? After 7 years, I'm done with the show. I just can't stay and watch it go gently into the night - as you put it.

I guess after being in jail, House got over Cuddy. To me, it doesn't make sense that Foreman was promoted to be Cuddy's replacement. It would have made more sense that he replaced House while he was in jail and that Wilson might replace Cuddy. I think the additional of Dr. Park gives House a new person to play off although it will not be a romantic relationship.

I do not know how House will continue after Cuddy leaves. I like the bantering between House and Cuddy and the episodes are not complete without them. I just hope the writers will find a way to have the exit really good. Cuddy is one of the best character in House if not the most stable next to Wilson. I'm gonna miss Lisa Adelstein for sure..
