who said its the end of the world today?

News came out yesterday that today, May 21, 2011 at 6PM will be the end of the world. I wonder where that news/speculations came from? Though the world are experiencing different catastrophies I do not buy that it will be the end of the world today.... What can you say? What did you do when you heard the news?

Hi NJ, It seems that every generation has at least one prediction about the end of the world but this one appears to be doubly blessed. Just wait until next year as December 21, 2012 gets ever closer. There is no doubt but that a shift in consciousness is coming, otherwise we will destroy the human race or certainly civilization as we know it. The end of this world for each of us will be when we make our transition and return to the place from whence we all came.Blessings.

It's already May 22 here in the Philippines and I am still here perfectly alive and typing my heart out. I am a Christian, and I found it really disappointing to know that a Christian made such a statement like that.

The 89-year-old founder of the Family Radio network said 21 May is when the world will end at around 6pm, with a massive earthquake wiping out all but a few saved souls, so believe Christian broadcaster Harold Camping. I'm laughing but he has until 6pm this evening. I use to believe in predictions a long time ago but very few if any of the predictions ever come true. I just read this morning in the New York Times how many religious figures have predicted the end of the world and they were all wrong.

Right now, it is already a few hours since the world was supposed to end. I saw an FB comment yesterday at around 9pm, asking what would the people that predicted this could be doing at that moment. To which another friend responded saying that their world has already ended, from ridicule. I'm sure they even woke up today with egg on their faces.

The end of the world it's like a game made by people who want to make money using some news.They do this because people IQ is very low, and is very simple to lie. Dear friends,the end of the world will not come when an old man will say or 2012 date.
