I am beginning to travel again after many years of not traveling. It is both exciting but also confusing and stressful. It's a whole new ball game. I am seeking advice about on-line travel sites. There are so many, all claiming to get you the best deal. I have asked friends for advice and everyone has a favorite or two. But no one can tell me which are the best. For those mylotters who travel a lot: what on-line travel sites do you use? Why? Are there any you would encourage me to stay away from? Last year, I flew from Florida to Texas. I paid over $200 for my seat while the person sitting next to me paid just over $80 for her seat. How does that happen? I forget which site she went through but she went through a site that monitors the price you paid and refunds you money if the ticket price goes down. She told me what site it was but I forget the name. Does anyone know what site this is?

I look at Sky Scanner last year and booked one of the flights that it suggested. I got a superb deal for around £1,200 from London to Cartagena De Indies via Madrid and Bogota. It was for one adult, one child and one infant. I know different prices are around so I look around a lot to compare. I have managed to find a way to get cheap train fares with a rail card and a booking site. I wonder which website the lady was talking about. Good luck finding it to make things right.
