We all have gone through a teenage stage. We have heard enough from our teachers and parents. Both positive and negative. Now that you're a grown up, If you could have told something that you weren't told before, what would like to have heard? Because in my case, I wanted to have been told "we're proud of you"

I guess my parents and older siblings weren't remiss in telling me a lot of stuff for my own good. It's not actually what they told me but how they told me that I would've wished was different. They were too lenient on me when telling me things I shouldn't do that as a teenager, I did anyway. Well, there were negative consequences on those actions I took and not taking heed of their advice.

If I were still a teenager, I would want to hear from my parents the words, "we trust you." Since my teenage years seemed to be so long ago, I can barely remember what was actually told to me, but it was always the things that I was prohibited to do. If my parents only knew that I am such a good girl... hence, I was hoping to hear them telling me that they trust me.
