Do you use up all your toothpaste?

When I have used up all my toothpaste, even after squeezing from the bottom to the top, I cut the tube open to scrape off the last bit of the toothpaste. I can usually get at least two more day's worth of toothpaste. Are you sparing with your toothpaste? I saw one of those toothpaste squeezers that seems pretty useful but haven't found one at any stores. I don't know if I would buy it. Do you use them?

Hi Sashakiddo, I never try this method to save on toothpaste.
Some of my toothpaste tubes were actually complimentary items from hotel rooms.
I take all these home so that I do not waste anything.
Most of the small tubes of toothpaste in hotel can last for a week instead of just a day.
As to the toothpaste that I bought, I just make sure that I squeeze out every single bit.
I guess I have to open the tube.
It is a good idea to use it for two more days.

Yes, I do the same. I wanted to maximize everything which I bought to save money for the children's schooling. I just hope that the toothpaste company could invent a better container which we could squeeze everything.

Yes. Life now is hard so you have to save and use all the things around you properly and economically. If I can't press it anymore, I cut it into two so I can still use some of it before throwing it.

Yes true we also use last bit of tooth paste by sillting bottom of the tube by a blade & take out the residual paste in it it really last for approximately 2~3 days.

I am also like you, i tend to get as much tooth paste out of the tube as i can.I always have loads of tooth paste in my house, ready for when we run out.I think that it is a good idea to use up as much as you can as the saying is every little helps when saving money

Well,I haven't thought about doing that yet,but since the crisis appear to be neverending in my country and every method to make some economies is good,I will try to apply it from now on,and I will also cut the tube open and try to use everything.I haven't heard about toothpaste squeezers yet,but I would use them if I found such a device.

I can't imagine brushing my teeth from toothpaste that has been exposed to the air for 2 days. Doesn't it dry out? I would think it would dry out. I do squeeze it from the bottom to get the most from the tube. Best Wishes!

I do that too. I just squeeze from the bottom to the top and I also cut the tube as I am pretty sure that there are still remaining toothpaste in there that I can still use. It is hard to earn money nowadays that is why we have to really use our toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner etc. to thier fullest.

I have heard of this useful tip to squeeze every last drop of toothpaste from a tube; but I have not really practised it myself. I admit, I'm just too lazy. The other thing is the mess that I will encounter. But if I can save two days' worth of toothpaste, that sounds like a good deal. My toothpaste is finishing soon and I will give it a try this time!

That's good practice:) My mom did that when we were kids. She also cut the tube open to squeeze out whatever toothpaste was left. We don't do it nowadays, though. I myself found it a little bit of a hassle. But I still squeeze the tube from bottom to top and also run through any hard object to the tube to really squeeze out whatever's left.
