While there are people who believe that yesterday, May 21, 2011, would be the end of the world, I am among those who just ignore it. My 8 years old daughter's personal view with it is that the world will not end but only the life of the people living on earth...

I think no one can really predict what would happen in the future. It is funny that in the news tonight, there is a new prediction about the end of the world that's to happen on Oct. 21, 2011, also by the same one who predicted about May 21. I was not even aware that it was supposed to be the end of the world last May 21. In case it was the end of the world, at least I was in some island having a grand time with friends and two of my nieces.
But then again, no one can really tell. The least that we can do is to live everyday as if it's the last day. Well, just my two cents.

When God decides that the world will end, there's nothing we can do about it. It will happen. We will all be destroyed.
But to point out the exact date that the world would end is so foolish. I don't understand why people like to predict when the world would end. If it ends, it ends. So?
What we should do is just live life the best we can. Why worry about something that is beyond our control?

I waited with a popcorn in hand for about 2 minutes and then slept the rest of the day off. Stupid predictions just kept on coming. You'll never know what others can come up with. I read this article on the net. He said he has proof that the 21st is in fact the end but all he presented are some random numbers that correspond to May 21. Stupid.

Well, I wait for the world to end - everyday. I mean, no one really knows when the time will come. So what we have to do is really to be ready everyday. Not just for the end of the world, but of our own lives. But, that doesn't mean that we stop living our lives. We live our lives like we'll live forever, but be prepared for it to end anytime. I was with friends having a wonderful vacation at a very picturesque island in Zambales! So, I'm thinking no one was really thinking about the end of the world!

Hi! I just ignored it. Infact, yesterday we were at the mall buying school uniforms for my son. Then, at about 5:00pm, when we were at a pizza house, my son was laughingly reminding me about the prediction. My nephew jokingly suggested that we would wait at the mall until it's past 6pm to see if the world would really end. So, you could see how children just shrugged their shoulders about it. Nowadays, when almost everyone's aware of what's going on around about hoax, scam, false alarms and others that distort truth, people are not anymore that gullible to believe about end of the world thing. The church warning against this end of the world thing is much stronger. So, in the future when there's a predicction like this, would crop up again, more and more people would not believe it.
