If you have read the discussion I started about 10 mins ago, you will know why I need to start working for myself...I am earning little bits online here & there but it's not enough to live on although it does help out....I am trying to start up my ebay business again by selling my unwanted goods & my knitted & crocheted items...I know that this could take a while to build up so I know I am going to have to go out & find a real job for myself...so I can get the hours & days that I want, I am thinking that it will probably be easier to work for myself...I know this could take a while to build up too...
I am wondering what I should do...I guess I could go back to cleaning holiday units but doing this on my own will be a HUGE job...I know I could sell my crafted items but I don't have that many to sell as with having a 4 year old, I find it hard to find time to sit down & knit or crochet...I am wanting to start converting videos to dvd as I have a converter but I cannot do this yet as I need to get a dvd burner...I am running out of ideas as to what I can do...I would love to hear what great ideas you have.

Hi moonchildlau
Actually, there are many things that you can do, but like you said, these things usually will take time to build up.
Since you already have some ready crafts, why not put them up on ebay first? And since you already have skills in knitting and crocheting, I think it's not that difficult for you to start your own craft business.
You can always do your knitting when your 4 year old is in kindy. At least that is the time you will have for yourself. And when you are a little established and have the extra time, perhaps you can write an ebook about your crochet and sell them for extra cash.
If you like, you can check out my website on my profile page for some ideas for a home based business. I hope everything will turn out right for you. Let me know if I can help with anything. Good luck!

These are some great ideas that you have!! I have listed the items on ebay that I have already made...& on some Aussie auction sites...I am also listing other collecables like xbox games & postage stamps too...I was lucky enough to sell 5 records (lp's) the other day but they only went for $0.50 each but it's a start lol.

Yeah, $0.50 for an lp is pretty bad but it was up for auction & no one else bid on it...I think I will have to list them on ebay to see if I get more bids...
Thanks for letting me know about stichtalk, I will definitely take a look there.

Thanks, moonchildlau. I hope you've found something that is of inspiration to you. $0.50 for an LP record? I think it should be worth more than that as you can't find many of these nowadays.
Anyway, since you like knitting and crocheting, I recommend you to join http://stitchtalk.com. It's a sewing community where everyone shares their handiwork.

I agree completely with the first two responders. Follow your Passions. Do what you love, love what you do.
I would also say, keep strict accounts, actually Jim Rohn says that. Search him up on YouTube, you won't regret that.
I personally am a fan of MLM, and I believe you are aware of that, it has its drawbacks, and it is bonuses, not for everyone though.
I am sure if you just sit and prayfully consider it, an answer will come your way.
Sincerely and With Appreciation.

I am trying to find what I love to do besides earning online lol...MLM for me, I just don't know if I have the patience but then again...it's the same as any business, you have to have the time & patience to put into it to make it successful.

Good luck to you and I hope everything works out. I too am trying to earn a living online. It's slow go,though. I just want to be able to pay the bills like you. Hang in there. You will figure it out. Whatever business you decide go in, I hope you good luck on.

whatever you do, you should choose something that you absolutely capable or in other words that you have talent. It will be easier to optimize something that you have already know. So ... list it down some activity that you love to do , after that choose the one that you can do your best. Find some idea related to the one that you can do your best. I hope it will help you to figure it out.
