What's the best topics to talk about with the guy you like?

I met a guy recently from the same circle of friends. He's quite a shy guy and I don't know how to approach him. I smiled sheepishly whenever he caught my gaze. Somehow I got tongue-tied whenever I wanted to start a topic with him. Anyone here having the same problem as I? How can I talk freely with him? And what are the best topics / common topics that I can talk with him?

Wow I'm sorry I cannot help you with this problem at all. I personally canoot approach the person I like. I can't even look at him while he's looking at me. lol but I'm glad there no one I fancy at the moment.

Try playing some ice breakers games. Maybe that will get him to relax. Try talking about yourselves, maybe you could tell each other a secret that no one else knows, make it interesting. Play some games as well, no one can resist talking while playing a fun game, maybe Crazy 8's.
