...even for a day? For me, I guess that would be aching joints, lack of sleep, backache and headache, dry eyes, hunger and thirst, emergency at work, school and home, when my sibling wants to use my computer, worry over bills, no food in the pantry, blackout, doomsday/appocalypse or when I suddenly faint in front of my computer. What about you, what would make you stop mylotting for any length of time?

I do too. I wish I could just type and type. But there are duties and chores to do and I try to keep everything done and in it's place. Sometimes, it's too little time but my eyes need a break and work...work comes and goes but mylot never will. I hope this site will not turn into a scam. I would be very sorry if it will happen in the future.

I guess to stay away from mylot someone will have to shut down my internet connection for a while. That way I can be away from mylot for a length of time. I must say that mylot is so addictive that even if I start internet for some work I end up opening mylot and posting comments every now and then. Not because I want to make some extra cash but I like posting here.

Also a certified mylot addict. Sometimes, I wish I just won't stop posting, replying, commenting or whatever. But I have to rest my eyes and do my chores and tell myself that I will not mylot today - only to open my account and do everything all over again. But there are also times when I don't feel mylotting at all.

There are days were I do not go on Mylot. But this is usually if I am away from my computer or on vacation. A few weeks ago, my computer needed a new charger so I was not able to get online for about 2 weeks. The first fews days I thought I was going crazy. I was super bored and irritable. But you get used to it. I am glad to be back though!

I guess when the site stops paying :) But I think another factor that would make me quit participating in this community is when I feel that the topics of discussions have somewhat deteriorated into nonsensical things. I mean, when almost all members start plagiarizing topics or posting rehashed ones.

I agree with you. I mean, one of the two main reasons why I love mylot is that it pays for really good discussions and the same time, making money. It was fun - earning money and interacting with o6yther people at the same time. I hope this site will never be a scam site.

The following are my reasons why I will stop Mylotting.
- I don't have to go to report for work. I only access Mylot when I am at the office since we do not have internet access at home.
- I am busy. Last year I was not at Mylot for 2 months because I was busy with our part time business during the holidays.
- I feel sick. Sometimes my eyes just got sore from looking at the computer or I am starting to have migraines.
- I am just bored, can't find any interesting discussions to participate to. I usually log-off at Mylot then come back again later to check on the discussions.

I guess when everyday life gets in the way I will stop. When I was in school, college took up too much of my time so I was unable to get on myLot and respond to discussions. If I'm working on my website and I'm really into it then I may not come on myLot. If I'm not home and I'm visiting someone then I probably won't come on myLot. MyLotting is something I do on my own computer at home when I'm bored and I don't have anything else to do, or when I'm up to the challenge to try to meet the minimum payout lol, which I have yet to do.

The main thing that usually stop me mylotting of course my real job in office. I have to work from morning till afternoon and sometimes until evening if there are many jobs to do. It makes me so tired when I get home.. then I better choose to sleep than mylotting :D

I've stopped mylotting (discussions) for days and even though about quitting entirely! I guess I was just stressed out at work that thinking for responses has become a labor. But somehow mylot always found a way to bring me back!
I do use the search bar quite often.
I guess, what would make me quit mylot for good, would be if it turns scam, which I doubt would happen in the few years if ever.

hi jeanney, for me it would be my studies. I actually have missed out of mylot for 3 days in a row because i had my assignments and tests. Also, if i don't feel well health wise, it might stop me from logging into MyLot. I have my final exams in two weeks time so i will miss mylot for a week or so...but its always good to be back!

The only thing that can make me stop mylotting is "no internet connection".

Well, I guess it would have to a sickness like getting a flu or stomach pains, that would be my only reason for not mylotting.
