help me with associatedcontent

Hello friends. After some advise i am trying to sign up in associatedcontent ... But it asked if i have yahoo account after pressing sign up. Once i entered via it i get in http://contributor.yahoo.com . Are they the same thing? Any article that i put here will be in associatedcontent? Help me here, i am confused. Do i need sign out from yahoo and try again sigh up in associatedcontent? than you.

Yes. Yahoo acquired Associatedcontent, and I think Yahoo seeks to have all contributors to be holders of Yahoo email accounts. I have few articles on Associatedcontent and weeks ago (after notification) had to changed email accounts to meet new requirement. Not much has changed, except Yahoo requires contributors have email login accounts on Associatedcontent that match account on their yahoo.mail. While I had no problem (seeing some of my works are copy-righted under my penname), I think this is most likely a tracking tactic.
