I wish I can move out of my apartment into a house in Manhattan right now. But, then sometimes i don't because moving someone where new can be a huge big step in my life. There will be a lot of things that I will have to get use to.

I have moved a lot of times, so I definitely understand how stressful moving can be. The packing part is so hard, because it usually involves sorting through tons of stuff that hasn't been organized in a long time. Here are some things I've learned:
1. Start early. There is probably a lot of stuff in your house that you don't use frequently and could go without for a couple weeks or even months. Pack that stuff ahead of time, so that when it's closer to moving time you only have to pack up the things you've been using.
2. Don't buy moving boxes unless you have to. Go to your local grocery store and ask the people in the produce department if they have any produce boxes you can have. Banana and apple boxes are ideal for moving.
3. Label ALL of the boxes with their contents and what room they should go in. This makes the unpacking so much easier.
4. Don't waste energy moving things that you don't use. If you have stuff sitting around that you haven't actually used in half a year or more, get rid of it (unless it is something you value for other reasons).
Moving is also a little bit exciting. I hope you enjoy your new house!
