Yes, but only if I bought them really really expensive since I would hate it if I wasted all that money for nothing, but if it was just bought on sale and inexpensive, I would just throw them away. It's not wearing it if it would make me feel tacky all day wearing that. If your dress is plain, maybe you can salvage it by wearing it with a blazer and accessorizing it with a necklace or belt to somehow hide its ugliness.

Yes. I remember when I was in high school,, my mom bought me apple green pants. I really hated them but one time she made me wore it to the mall when we all went with my family. Anyway, to make matters worse, I don't know what top to wear it with since I guess all my white tops are in the laundry or something. So she picked out my purple shirt with a huge glittered heart on it. Mind you, it was a gift from a friend. I really hated it but she won't let me hear the end of it so I just gave in and wore the whole ensemble. During the whole time at the mall, I felt so self-conscious that I felt everyone who glances at me and talks to their companions were talking about me. I know I got so paranoid, but that was one of my most embarrassing moments!

Well a couple of times, I think that out of guilt, I wore a few pieces of clothes that really did not fit me. I tend to not really be picky about what I really wear, but there are going to be a lot of things that really do not look really good on me at all. If it does look rather ugly on me, then it is not going to be something that I like. Oddly enough, a lot of it was hand made by family members that really should not be hand making anything. Of course, that was then and this is now. I think that a lot of the things that I did wear when I was younger, I would be absolutely mortified about right now and a lot of things that I wear right now, I would be horrified about wearing right now. Then there are things that I was horrified and disturbed about wearing. Still there were a lot of fashion disasters when I was younger and I'm sure the more I think about it, I'd think of something that I was repressing that I was made to wear.

cant remember a time when this happened to me... my mom and i often agree on all things, hahaha she appreciates my clothes, my art, everything (except my music though, hehe) so we usually shop together. my dad is the one who hates my clothes. he doesnt like too much black, im a Goth so he cant take it away from me, but he never asked me to wear anything i dont like he just tells me he hate what i wear. :)

I can feel you,Cora. Actually there are some instances that we have no choice but to do things despite of not wanting it really. I remember when I started to work. Most companies have their dress code, back then, it is usually dress or blouse & skirt as uniforms and compelled to wear in the office. Just like you, I'm not comfortable wearing those kind of dresses for I need to chase public vehicles just to be in the office. Luckily now, pants are allowed for as long as it will look decent..the so-called "corporate attire", probably they consider the commuters difficulties wearing dress or blouse and skirts. Well atleast now, it is not only decent but convenient as well. Most companies now still implemented dress code, but not like the so-called uniform before. Now they are convince to have atleast variety of suits for as long as it is not the casual clothing.

I think we have all worn clothing that we don't like. This happened to me more often in schooldays when my parents were the one offering my wardrobe. Parents and children do not always have the same fashion tastes. If i wear something i don't like, it has to have a definite reason. Offending fashion just doesn't make sense any other way.

Hate formal dressing. - Sweat and irration with formal dressing.
yes during those working days, i need to wear necktie and shirts and also formal dress to work and such, the work is hard and sweaty and also need to move around , the weather here is my place is darn hot and humid, hence easy to sweat , hence need to wear singlet to protect from sweat stains which cause irration from sweats hence need to wear powder talcuum at sensitive place to prevent rash.

It has not happened very often, since I am pretty particular with what I wear, to be honest, but I guess it has happened at some point in the past. I think it has to everyone! Mostly because I didnt have anything else to wear at the time, I guess. Or because I bought something by mistake that turned out to be not so good after a while.

I often HAVE TO. Well since I'm doing college and I'm in the high fashion years my choice does tend to change as often as my mood. And then there are times (like exams!) when not all of my CURRENT FAVS are washed or pressed.
