No kidding the news man said this was the worst of everything happening in this world. This is the worst weather. The worst tornadoes. The worst earthquakes. Even the locusts will be worse this year then they have been in over 13 years. Is things worse where you live then you have ever heard of? Has the price of everything gone up as it has here?

No, this is not the worst ever here, we have had fewer tornadoes than we have in years, much fewer than normal. Extreme weather and natural disaster seems to go in cycles. It will have to go a bit to beat some of the extremes I have seen and I am not even sixty years old. One summer we had high temps above 100 degrees for 41 days. I sure hope we do not top that. It is easy to see the worst if you look for it.

Hi GG in a few months I will be at the sixty mark and it seems like things have gotten a lot worse to me. Especially this year. There have been a lot of tornadoes here in MO and we are having one a few hundred miles from us right now and it is coming this way. I hope we don't get 100 degree temps here ever. I live in Las vegas one summer and it got up to 116 degrees and I hated it.

I am almost 58 and we live in central Kansas. We always have a few days that hit 100. We even already did that one day this year. That is unusual. I grew up in Oklahoma, but I remember sometimes having snow in May, and having lots of tornadoes. I hope you are safe with your tornados. I do not even remember the last time I had to take shelter. I bet we should clean the basement up, though, just in case.

Hi GG. Joplin MO had tornadoes last night wiped out an entire neighborhood and this morning the same neighborhood got another dose. We don't have a shelter we go to the garage where it has a cement foundation.

It is scary. You never know what to expect anymore. Everything is going up, but gas, and it is finally going back down. Try to stay safe.

Hi Thoroughrob. You are so right everything is costing too much money for what people make these days. I think it is a sign from the bible that tough times are ahead for the world. Our gas went down by 10 cents but don't expect it to stay that way.

Maybe these are signs that the world is coming to an end. This is really scary. But nevertheless, life still goes on. What we can do is to live positively and do not forget to care for our mother earth.

Hi, I try to beaware of everything going on around me. I think this year is stranger then many years passed. We had the flooding rain a month or so and then all these tornadoes came. Now we are having really hot weather here. Oh well God has HIS plan and we will all know it when it is HIS will.

Yes, the prices are going up at a rapid pace, here. The weather is up and down everyday. It could be nice in the morning and pouring in the evening or vice versa. It's hard to start the yard work because you don't know from 1 minute to next what's going to happen. Hopefully, thing will lower in price and it will turn to summer soon. I have a lot that still needs to be done around here and this craziness isn't helping. Best Wishes!

Hi Sswallace. We have a lot of yard work to be done too. Plus we have a couple of yards in town to do and can't get any of it done because of the weather. My husband has been outside all day weeding the yard the rain is in and out. Soon he will have to stop the rain is coming in harder. We had tornadoes last night we had to get in the garage because we don't have a storm shelter. The weather has been doing some pretty nutty things lately. Joplin MO was hit last night then early this morning we heard that it was being hit again this morning. It destroyed a whole neighborhood.
