I kind of do wish I could go back and do it over again. Not sure how my plan would work out but I'd like to go back and have more fun, spend more time with my friends AND get better grades. Maybe change my degree. I had always balked at the idea of a journalism degree because I hated the rigidity of the Associated Press writing style but in the years since I've graduated I've found there are so many journalism careers that don't require writing in that style, including music magazines, which I would LOVE to write for.

If there is one thing that I miss about college life, it would be the free allowance my mom gave me when I go to school. I really don't have to work hard just to feed my self, unlike now that I am working. I have to stand up for myself already and not depend on my mom to provide for me.
There weren't really exciting things that happened in college.
It was the same school-home routine for me.
I never gave my mom any headaches, only things that make her proud.

Well, I just finished my university degree a couple of weeks ago. As much as it does feel good to be finished, there are those moments (mostly lately) where I do miss it a little. I had a great time there, and there are times when I feel a little nostalgic. Maybe I might want to go back a little bit, but it's not really a lot.

I miss my college life only when I am depressed. When I have problems at work or any situation with my girlfriend, my friends or my family I usually recall some aspects of my college life. People I met, things I learnt, parties I went to and so on. I tell myself that life used to be simpler than it is today.
But I am the first to admit that all these thoughts are rubbish. When I went to the college I was not happier than I am now, because college life had also its uncertainties. Will I pass the exam? Is that girl in love with me? Will I find a profitable job? So nostalgia should be avoided. It´s better to focus on giving a happy ending to present problems than spending time with imaginations of a world that never existed. Back in time? No way!
