How does Israel benefit the USA?

First we have a moral obligation to protect the only true Democracy in the area. Israel is the only country in the region that we can really count on. During the first gulf war Israel agreed to stay out so that the coalition could go forth with Arab support. They suffered under several SCUD missile attacks and did not return the attacks at our request so we could achieve our success in the war. At our request they gave up territory in an effort to secure peace. They have stopped short of total victory at our request and put themselves in danger to make us look good to the Arabs in the area. I think there are plenty of reasons to support Israel.

Israel is a buffer between us and hostile Middle Eastern nations. Back a few years ago when Iraq had developed nuclear power and was rumored to be making weapons, everyone was talking about what to do and wringing their hands. Israel got credible intelligence that a weapon was just weeks from completion and use and they went in and bombed that facility, possibly saving the lives of millions of people. Israel acts when others agonize over what others will think of them. Israel has defended us for nearly half a century, sticking up for us when everyone else is condemning us. We do some trading with them but I think mostly they benefit us by being our first defense against attack from the Middle East. They do this job well.

Do you want to say that if you do not get any benefit from someone then you should not help him. what is the fault of Israel. Israel was made with permission of whole world. Jewish people worked so hard to build this country. It did not even notice that it was surrounded by enemy from all the sides, because they were never enemies. Later with the hard work and scarifies of Jewish people, this country Israel started to flourish. From dry sand they took out green plants, orchards of fruits and gardens of flowers....God blessed the land and they became rich. And this happiness of Jewish people became pain for rest of the middle-east and their jealousy went to such and extent that they started to attack Israel and Israel had to fight back in self defense, which is right of every person , every country.God was again with Israel and in spite of being attacked from all the sides the Israel become victorious and God added more land to Israel so that it could protect his country. This shameful defeat of enemies turned their jealousy into hatred and with time you can see what has happened today. Israel does not need money from USA, it needs friendship, support, protection. Do you think since, you don't live in Israel, it does not matter if someone wipes out the name of Israel, kills everyone including little children who have not done anything.........will your guilty conscious will let you live in peace, if you will think like that. USA is helping Israel because humanity is still alive. And believe me even if today Israel will be wiped out from the map, this fight and hatred will still continue, today Israel, tomorrow USA, and they others.....so lets not be selfish and think only about benefits..... Also I have a question.....If Iran, Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon are so much in love with tier Palestinian bra others, why don't divide them among themselves and give shelter to their brothers.......they have so many countries, Jews have only one small country.....why everyone wants Israel.......

I'm not reallysure either. I know the U.S. complains about our national debt but then they send our money to some other country. They also say they have to cut this and cut that here in the U.S. and cut funds for people who need it here. It doesn't make sense.

As Hussein Obama keeps pointing out more and more often, the US does not have a peace treaty with Israel. It will not be long before Hussein will throw the ONLY TRUE DEMOCRACY IN THE MIDDLE EAST to the arabs to do with what they will. When Hussein Obama gives arms and money to Israel, he gives and equal amount to Saudi Arabia. He also gives more than a billion a year to Hamas and Fatah. Then there is Iraq, which by the way is a made up country. It was put together from bits of other countries so that the oil was all in one country. A nice neat package that certain countries thought they could control...oops. We still pour billions into that failed war. Don't forget Afghanistan and the promise we made to it's women way back when the Russians were trashing them....Maybe you don't know or care about that, but we are still pouring billions into that country. Then there are all the riots going on in all of the rest of the Mideast. We are footing the bill for the arms in a lot of the counter attacks...We have no business in any of this, but we are spending millions just on rockets, just so that in months or maybe a year the islamic brotherhood can take over the whole Mideast...You don't really think anything else will happen do you? Now, with all these lovely arabic countries that want to kill us or at least you christians here in the states, there is one country in there midst that has eyes and ears everywhere sending America information on the comings and goings of our "enemies". Yeah, I know Hussein Obama calls them brothers, but the rest of us kind of want to stay FREE AMERICANS, not Sharia Law muslims.

Well, for one thing, Israel kicks azz. That was great when they took that nuke out years ago. I'd say our relationship with Israel is very beneficial. What's not to like? They have the best military, the best pilots and they have the best intelligence agency. Um, what do we get from the Arab world? Threats, bombs, our people attacked and murdered.. I think you should wear this....

Gew, I have never figured this one out really. But, the one thing I do know is that the minute you talk about Israel people get very defensive. Oh, and they have a very large voting block here in the US

Many Jewish Americans and Israeli's Live in the USA. So both Countries want to make sure any Type of Holocaust Never Happens again. English is Well Spoken in Israel so it is a Famous Tourist Mecca for many Americans and Europeans. That is a Money Making Industry in the USA & Europe
