Glasses of Pee

Yes, you've read right, I have this family member on Facebook showing multiple pictures of glasses of hers and her friends' pee for pregnancy tests and gender tests, in beer glasses!
Okay, so this is family, (Hubby's family, so I'd better be nice LOL!!!!!) and I can understand a young mother's excitement of showing off her belly, showing her pics of the digital pregnancy test results, showing off her ultrasound pics, all that fun stuff. I think it's cute and fun, actually, and this is her 2nd baby. But showing glasses of her and her friend's pee - I mean 3 and 4 of them in a period of a month - personally I think it's kinda private, and not acceptable for Facebook!!!! I usually have her posts hidden because she talks about herself too much but her mother and aunts comment and laugh and all that so I see them. I looked at her album and there they were.
I'm a party-pooper, I suppose.....I dunno. I didn't comment on her album or anything, except if it's a nice pic or something.
But I am curious...where should one draw the line in showing pics on Facebook, though?

Yuck! I totally agree with you on this one. I mean all the other pregnancy things are okay but the pee in cups..not so..But saying anything to them about it would probably get them mad or even have their friends go on a war path for them..I seen that done before.

Worse thing the lady would do is probably just delete me, after all, it's not my cousin, but my husband's cousin...I'm just surprised she'd sink so low because whenever I'm around her at family gatherings she's always so cheerful and happy, very sweet and kind. I just don't get it, really.

Hi. Masihi. I think that it is very totally out of league, to post pictures of urine pictures from a pregnancy. Seriously, this is nasty and no one wants to see someone else urine. I know that I would not and knowing me, I wouldn't even bother commenting on their picture either. This is private and I hope that someone on Facebook reports this picture to the Facebook admin as abuse! How can these two girls think that this is appropriate? They definitely need to be schooled about what is acceptable and unacceptable to post on Facebook as public pictures! These pictures are so not normal, they are abnormal!

Hmm I can't see Facebook deleting those pictures because they're pregnancy-and-baby-gender-related, but then again if I was an admin i'd delete them!!!

Hi Masihi, Well having five children of my own i would definately say that is a step to far, but unfortunately as much of a fan of facebook as i am, some people really dont know when to stop.
I think these kinds of pics should stay private. i can understand the excitment of finding out you pregnant even if it is the second baby but pictures off pee..... well i'am not sure thats everyone cup of tea (Lol)
I think it would be best just to ignore the photos and not make any judgement on them personally so's not to offend anyone, but i definately agree with you.

I would draw my line a lot further back than that. I guess that is why I am not really active on FaceBook. Too much information.

It is indeed too much information, and very immature esp for a lady in her 30's. I'm glad I'm not the only prude in this world :-p

gross. really. why would she do that? even i was pregnant i did not post my tummy lol because i find it too much. it is ok showing the kids pictures, baby pictures but that? thats just gross. i am always careful as to what pictures to post in facebook, i only have family pics, baby pics and stuff but nothing else. it is all wholesome.

I think Facebook SHOULD be a wholesome place for personal friends and family to connect electronically. If you want to show gross stuff go to some adult site or something like that lol. Kids as young as 13 join Facebook.

Hi there,
Don't get me wrong that facebook with no doubt is fun for many, but there are some that give way too much TMI and I have often had to delete wall postings because of some of the stuff I get that I prefer not all to see. lol

Well, I do have her posts "hidden" - like she's on my facebook as a friend but I can't see her postings unless one of her relatives (that I have also on my fb) comment then I see them.

I would not only say it's awful/embarrassing but also immature. like a teenager. This lady's in her 30's.
