yeah, once you start playing, it is hard to stop, especially if the game is good. I've gone back to playing games again, after being addicted to farmville for months.. good thing I now have more discipline and can stop playing if I want to. have you ever been addicted to a game before?

The same situation with me. I'm so addictive with game, especially kind of arcade game : time management. I don't know what people think about this kind of game because all of them usually like an adventure game. I can't handle this addictive. One time I try to play game, I feel like want it more and more. I dont know how to stop it. And even when I'm on office I always wait the break time just to play some game in my PC and hard to stop it.

I love those types of games to- since they are very challenging with lots of levels.. You should just try and control yourself, be busy with other stuff to put your mind ways from games.

i have been adicted to world of warcraft for 4 years, i used to also be addicted to Gears of war. Breaking addiction to games is hard because there are so many ways to argue that they are not as bad as they seem, and for the most part, they are not so bad. However it is the minor effects they have on overall life that slowly build up to a big problem. - Mypalzadin

No, i am not addicted to any gaming sites because i think they are simply a complete waste of time.Frankly i sit on my computer for just 2 hours everyday and i prefer to utilize that precious time to earning sites like mylot. In the beginning when i just bought my computer and before i had the internet i used to spend my time playing games which had been downloaded in it.However after some time i got tired and bored of playing games and then went for the internet, found mylot and have never looked back since then.

Yes, I just realized that a few months ago- that games are just a waste of time and it's better to do mylotting. I hoped I realize it earlier though.. I'll try to stay away from games from now on..

Yeah, games are really addicting if not why are there so many new ones being introduce lately. And they are more challenging I mean the new ones and more complicated sometimes.Well, it also helps our brain as a form of exercise I guess but others as you said are addicting. So you must divide your time or have a time limit for games to do other things too.Have a good day lady.

Yes,some games just keep on getting better and getting more addicting. There are thousands of games out there which is easy to access too. I usually just stay away from games- stay away from temptation.

I used to play games for hours on ends at times, a few years ago. Lately though, I just find it too repetitive and pointless at times, and just do something else. If I am sick or very tired or something, I will play a game for quite a long time though- like fallout 3, some fps's, etc.

Yes, now.. games for me are pointless too- since I don't really get anything out of them, I'd rather go mylotting. But sometimes I still do both, earn online, then play games- but then I spend more time in playing.

Yes I was addicted to a game before. I got addicted to the Final Fantasy series that were released. I mostly got engrossed with the story since it is an RPG. I played from series 1 - 9 in the PS one versions. My addiction stopped when Final Fantasy series continued in the PS2 console so good thing.

I've been addicted to World of Warcraft and I must say that I've mellowed down now. I've been playing the game for 5 years now and I've managed to gain some degree of restraint in playing it. I have to set some time in playing it else I would have neglected my family.

Well, that is good for you xtedaxcvg... some people can't even control themselves in playing computer games they even neglect their studies. I played World of Warcraft for a few months though- it was summer and I got addicted to it for a while.

You are right. I also find playing games is very addicted. Just like if I play the game Sims, then sometimes I even play it over night. This is why I hardly will play a game since I know I am not a person who can control myself well. I will feel guilty if I waste the time like this. I dream if one day I am rich and don't have to worry about the money, then I will enjoy my life and do something I like, including playing the games. I love China

Oh, yes, games can be addicting not only for kids but for adults as well. It would really test your willpower, especially if the game is challenging. I love playing games, but fortunately, I haven't been addicted to any particular one. Hmm, unless you consider online card games with real betting money as games :)

yeah, that could be games too, I think. I have been addicted to lots of games these past few years, internet is really bad when not used well. But I got over it eventually, after much time and effort wasted.

This is true, games are soooo addicting. To me the most addicting game i have ever played would be GoW, better known as Gears of War. This game has everything i would want in a game lol, it has blood, gore, violence, killing and beautiful graphics. This game was the game of all games that gave the xbox 360 its uplift to fame and had more people buying xbox 360 just to play this game. Then after awhile they came out with GoW2 which surprisingly topped the first one. Most of the time when they decide to continue on a game it isnt good but i was wrong......this one topped it in EVERY way lol. Now coming up here soon in September there will be a GoW3, im hoping this game will be beyond the other two and i have a feeling with all the time they took on the game it will surpass ALL xbox 360 games out on the market.
